I've been really intimidated by Welvin, as he seemed really badass. However, Ikalgo handled him just fine... I was surprised that I actually found myself feeling bad for wolfie!

I just want to make things clear because I'm not sure what you got out of it, but when Welfin said "Gyro, the king" he meant as the king of the underworld. He's not the king of the ants.

THE GOOSH!

I got that, but I think my memory was letting me down in a related way: Gyro never really had any meaning to the ants other than being defeated by them, right? The queen - or by extension - the king then don't really give a shit about Gyro?... I don't know why my memory wanted to believe that Gyro would have meant something to the ant royalty. :-(

Talk about an unexpected but awesome Character development for a minor character nobody cared about. This storytelling is so bold and unpredictable.

Mighty Snake

Fanbase: I don't really like this character. HxH: Hang on fam! *some episodes later* Fanbase: *holding their feels* I'm gonna miss that character!

This was a tough episode to watch. On the one hand I love Ikalgo and want nothing but good things to happen to him. But on the other hand I was happy that he'd found the strength within himself just in time to try to save Palm. That he never wavered in his loyalty to his friends and was in fact willing to die for them. Made him even more endearing. It was also really cool to see him interact with a character that I initially would've loved to see put in the ground. But turned out that they weren't so different.

I really enjoyed that too. Both characters got developed very well. Ikalgo feeling guilty for not being able to shoot brovada because he felt like he betrayed his friends who are risking their lives. And one of his best lines:" its so easy to pull the trigger if youre prepared to die"
