I am more and more impressed by Gurren Lagann, regardless who is at the controls! The eventual showdown with King Scroogie is really starting to shape up as an epic encounter... Plus, the relationships in GL are truly fascinating and fun.

FYI curtis I don't knownif anyone told you this yet. The title names for each episode is said by a character in the show and the font of the title changes when I different character is the one saying it. The first font was for Kamina. The second font is for nia.

Cetacean Needed

It's about this point in the series where it simply keeps building up and up from here on. There are a couple parts that approach breather status, but even then it's still ramping up to the show's climax. In other series you can graph the buildup and it'd look like something from the stock market, with ups and downs all over the place. If you do that with GL you just get a damn near straight line that pierces the heavens.

Gurren Lagann is defintely a great mecha anime to start with Curtis! I'm sure others have probably mentioned Code Geass. Hopefully you can get around to watch that in the future! It's another mecha anime and one of my all time favorite animes. If you're loving Gurren Lagann then you'd 100% love that too!

Idk about others but a good mecha anime to me is mobile suite gundam : iron blooded orphans. Mika is savage. Id like to know other people thoughts. Without spiolers tho.

Simon is channeling his inner Goku while eating, pile of empty plates and anything goes... xD
