Episode 135 is the saddest epieode I have seen in any anime

Steven Fechter

I mean if you remember right before gons transformation he said "I dont care anymore, ill use everything". Im pretty sure that was him verbalizing his nen contract. Everything he has and everything he could be.

SUPER SPOILERS........... ............ that scene is really touching but honestly i dont get why people get super sad from it considering what TK has done in the past even if he has become a kinder person.

I'm actually really impressed that you figured it all out Curtis! I think HxH is making you smarter 😂

VampCinder

So just to point it out, nen was described as your very life energy. It's not simply power.

I really can't wait for episode 135.... Legit my favorite episode of any show/anime ever , never fails to make me tear up

Jojoekage

I agree, Youpis anticlimactic death was really shocking.

Jojoekage

Daaammn, your deduction skills are on fire Curtis. Of course, there were a lot of hints, but still. Yes, thats why we are worse than any other animal on this earth. Thats why Netero said we have infinite potential for "💀malice💀". More disgusting details on that, next episode.

Jojoekage

Its funny how Curtis relates to Meruem due to him struggling to remember something. Just like Curtis does. All the time 😂

I mean it makes sense, but it feels like a really anticlimatic end to an otherwise amazing arc. Japan never gets over their issue with being nuked over 70 years ago.

For those of you who've been missing my comments on these vids. (Joe I'm looking at you). I've been very busy over the holidays, not really having the time to watch the actual episodes themselves, let alone the reactions to them. I spent all of yesterday playing catch up. And by the time I was caught up I felt that I had nothing to contribute that hadn't already been said. Okay apology over. Logically it's impossible to be caught in a nuclear blast of any kind and survive. Of course the King did, (barely) but even then by the looks of things the Royal Guard was only delaying the inevitable. Youpi & Pouf went directly into a freshly irradiated area which probably would've been bad enough if they'd been at full strength. (Considering how strong the King is after absorbing most of them. And he's still feeling the effects). There's also the fact that both of them ended up cutting their own lives incredibly short by helping the King. Weakening their immune system along with their combat capabilities. On a somewhat related note the Japanese have a very unique perspective on the use of Nuclear weapons. Seeing as they're the only country to ever actually have not one but two nukes (or rather Atomic bombs) against them. This colours their portrayals of the evils of Nukes in a lot of their fiction. (Which gave us such stories as Godzilla). The Chimera Ant arc is kind of skirting the plight of the survivors of Hiroshima & Nagasaki. The treatment of these people after the war is actually a very interesting subject. Here's the Wikipedia Article if you wanna give that a look. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hibakusha#Discrimination P.S. That wasn't supposed to look like a SJW Tweet.

Thanks for your comment, as always. 😁 we truely live in said times, when we have to clarify we re not SJWs for stating something like that 🤦🏻‍♂️ almost as sad as the aftermath of an atomic bomb.

Youpi was my favorite Royal guard. His design and abilities are cool and him learning as he fought was great character growth. He may have sided with the king with sparing some worthy humans after his fight if it wasnt for the king almost getting killed. I wanted to see more about him b4 he died

your comments in the beginning of Gon... very observant lol

I Think most People focused on the long hair and not on the weak and small body.

Thats what makes it an amazing anime in terms of storytelling, deep characters and their development. Though i wouldn't call the ending anticlimactic just because there wasnt a huge predictable fight between Gon and Meruem at the end. It's amazing how they never even met.

Blue

The explosion from Gons attack did go off, since the surrounding area is scorched and Pitou is completely dead now. If the attack didn't go off Pitou's corpse would still be trying to kill Gon.

Ablaise

Can I ask why you edit out parts of the video? Why go through the extra editing? Although you usually do a good job of keeping in the important/cool moments, we would definitely prefer the full episode.

Fair use is still in effect even if Japan hates Youtube plus he might bring the series to Youtube at some point and would have to edit it anyway

Isaac Godoy

Anyone else super proud that he was able to put it all together as he was watching. :-D He’s learning!!!
