Stern Culinary Girl here may say she wasn't impressed by Soma's dish, but her soaked panties reveal otherwise! :-D

Hello good sir i belive your anime has too much naughtiness in it. I ask that you hand it over so we can take it into the evidence locker for research.

I called Soma a "Food Saiyan" and in the icon pic was where he showed up with his cherub face. :-)

Flashzie

I can’t, they did Erina so wrong XD

V_VMat

I like Erina as a character, she is tsundere and can't say her honest opinion (also Soma's teasing didn't help at that situation) BUT I REALLY CAN'T STAND THAT SPEAKING. DUB REALLY BLEW IT WITH THIS. Normally I don't really care about the sub/dub war, but in this I really hate dub!!! (Or it might be that because I don't understand Japanese it doesn't sound so bad, but actually is as terrible and I just don't hear it while reading subtitles)

AnimeAddict

I think anime like Food wars is better in Sub, because it is set in Japan, so cultural references and voice acting is more on point. May I suggest watching first 3 or 4 episodes in both SUB and DUB version in your own time, and decide to switch or not after watching both.

the story works so well because its basically creativity and hard work vs traditions and by the book stuff and thats why souma is so likeable

We get this suggestion a lot, and to be honest, if I had enough time to watch multiple episodes of the same show, I would instead use that time to post more content here... The next episode of this I've already made the switch to sub, only because the dubs aren't caught up and I'd rather switch early than late. We have this conversation pretty much every time we start a new series, as there are always supporters of the opposite side in the sub vs. dub thing. :-)

You are going in for one hell of a ride. :D It just keeps delivering!

You call it dramatic, I call it Epic!!!

Phillip Ribbink

Only thing that could've made Souma clocking that rich prick better. Is if he'd clocked all those other guys who were looking down their noses at him.

Erina sounds really uneducated when she describes taste, which is fine by me she’s a bitch

Scryehard

How do you fuck up the casting of a character this badly? Jesus Christ.

"I think I have mentioned this early"... says thing he said twice in both reactions :D

Zhalterrix

The one time I do approve of you talking over the dialogue is when Erina is talking.
