I knew he kids were a longshot in this contest, but I was rooting for them anyway! Oh well, I guess when it all fleshed out it could have been much worse.

There's 61 episodes currently 24 in the 1st season,13 in the 2nd and 24 in the 3rd,also best girl enters the kitchen tomorrow

Middleman850

I don’t think it necessary justifies it his bad behavior. But it does give a reason and maybe hope for change.

Megumi is such a cutie-Pie

Mighty Snake

He was always kind of an asshole but after that incident with his staff he became very untrusting which kind of ampilfied his distaste for anyone who questioned him like those employees. I guess he got slighty paranoid and wound up about people and just became what he is. Not saying that excuses him but I feel like I can understand how someone could end up like that, though he does become better in time.

As stuart says 3 seasons so far with more to come I think season 4 will be coming sometime this year if not definitely next year

Phillip Ribbink

Am I the only one who thinks douchebag chef is a more detailed version. Of the food critic from Ratatouille?

Please eat the occasional vegetable... i’m a 400+ lb loser, given you’re history, you should totally be there!

Kyle Bryant

It's a common trope in anime that they show the humanizing elements of the bad guys. It usually isn't meant to excuse their actions -- in this case, it doesn't shy away from all the alumni saying he's cruel -- but instead to show that everyone has the capacity for change. Less "forgive them" and more "don't give up on them."

half way done with season 1, there's multiple season out right now.

THE GOOSH!

Nah, vegetables just taste nasty to me... I'd much rather pop a multi-vitamin than subject myself to a brussel sprout. :-D

hated shinomiya at this point but I can understand why he is the way he was

꧁Coltonius Maximus꧂

I share your distaste for Shinomiya's abusive attitude. If they subtracted that, he might actually be one of my favorite characters, but they just had to make him a Male Sakura

He will end up being one of your favorite characters in the next part of the story just wait

AceOfSerberit

I don't think this was meant to excuse his behaviour, rather explain it

Scryehard

"She's a top-rate Chef too and he disrespects her" You mean like she disrespects him, a top-rate chef? Also, these people all graduated together. They know each other very well.
