I understand not wanting to over-exert himself too early, but Goku needs to not call it so close! There's already enough issues with exactly what Frieza has planned, and wondering if Vegeta can work as a member of a team at all.

As you can see, the Mouse God of Destruction (Quitela) and Beerus don't get along too well. Of course, this is due to the cat and mouse relationship. It's memed in the fandom that this is the Dragon Ball version of Tom and Jerry. XD

Also, those with natural wings and such can fly. Basically, no unnatural flight is allowed.

You know, realistically, Lavender (the poison wolf guy) should be one of the biggest contenders in a tournament like this. He's not the most powerful, but he could literally just go around poisoning. They're not allowed to use items to heal, so they wouldn't really be able to do anything about it once they're poisoned. If I were him, I would be hiding and waiting to poison people while they're distracted rather than strolling up to one of the only guys that actually knows about his ability.

in the manga the mouse god gets a bit more background story. implying he had a contest with beerus but wins well still being weaker then beerus & this is why they are so annoyed with each other. Yet in the anime I think they skip most of that background story.

A plausible theory on how to defeat Jiren without losing a warrior would be to bring Yamcha to the Tournament of Power, have Jiren power-up, Yamch dies and Jiren is disqualified.

I always imagined goku being able to flap his arms really fast and fly like a humming bird. Would that be against the rules

They mention the arm wrestling contest in the anime, but it's never stated that it was him that beat Beerus in the anime. It's possible that it was actually Vermoud that beat Beerus in the anime since the arm wrestling thing directly following up Whis' statement that one universe has a fighter stronger than its God of Destruction would kind of lead you that way. The manga does have a lot of differences from the anime, after all.

Since they made a point to show that the Gods could still fly I assumed when Goku and Vegeta started using God Ki they would be able to fly. Seemed pointless to point out if it wasn’t gonna come into play. Already proven wrong when Goku uses blue here and still has to grip the side to stay in. So... it was pointless to point out after all. Lol oh well.
