Okay, Gang, Chrome has decided to go with Hunter X Hunter for the manga reading video she's sponsoring! The desires for that one were overwhelming in the discussion thread, so Chrome said that's the way we'll go... I have it on the schedule now with the rest of this month's GOOSHER 100s.

To say I'm psyched for it would be an understatement!  :-)

Are you starting from where the anime leaves off, or starting it over entirely?

Valrenas

As much as I love Hunter x Hunter, I hope you're up for a lot of reading lol

Matt Smith

Curtis does know you read right to left top to bottom right?

Mody Ari

Awesome! I've known HXH since the old version when I was a kid. And I felt excited years ago when I heard about the remake, and it was awesome experiencing that with you again. I've never read the manga arcs after the anime, so this time you're leading the trip. Speaking of 1999 HXH, it's known for being directed in a darker tone in the early arcs, I'd love to see you react to some of the scenes from that one just to see how it was depicted in the era the early arcs were written for. Killua feels a lot more ominous. The Killua VS Jones fight was censored in the 2011 one, for example.

Colin

How many chapters a month?

Jacob Schreiber

Oh man we’re gonna get to see the fight 👀

Curtis is going to have headaches during this current arc. I binged it and still struggled to figure out who was who and what the fuck was actually going on.

The most recent one with the boat trip? Yeah, that one's wordy.... And if Curtis ever catches up, he'll have to work about the random hiatuses lol

when are you starting Hakusho ? after hxh, i don't really watch anything else : p just waiting on Hakusho.

Chrome

hey heads up guys, this is a one time thing for now, it's a test to see if people like manga reactions on the channel, I'm not made of money, I'm not AlphaCentauri lol, if you like this kind of thing vote for it the next suggestion thread after the series after food wars, or for one of the breaks between one piece. I may do this once more in a few months for HXH or something else, but it's not going to be a regular thing for me, it's a lot of money especially with 20% tax on it as well as a few other bank and international charge things
