It's amazing how quickly I've become attached to these characters! Luffy's brief relationship with Coby was really cool, and I hope we see the little Marine again soon. Luffy and Zoro heading out as a 2-man pirate crew is simply awesome! :-)

Just seeing Luffy say We’ll meet again to Coby really is an emotional moment. It just demonstrates how far these character relationships are going to develop throughout the series

Anonymous

I didn't like Coby that much– thought he was too whiny and weak personally. But now the fun should begin!

Aidan

Nurufufufu and with this began the journey of the StrawHat pirates

Jojoekage

Buggy is funny and all, but if you think about it, his devil fruit power is overpowered.

Miklar Sihn

I will tell you that we will meet coby again. I will not tell you anything more about it though.

Jojoekage

I love this music at the end when we see SHANKSOO :)

Jojoekage

"Almost near the end" 😂🤣 this meme will never get old.

V_VMat

"Looks like some pretty good adventures'll be waiting for us." I don't know how to say it better

Miklar Sihn

His crew has doubled over the course of 3 episodes and he has gone from a barrel, to a rowboat, to a sailboat during the same time. If this speed just keeps up then he will have a crew somewhere around to 562,949,953,421,312 and a ship quite a bit bigger by the titanic by episode 150.

The Muddler

Bye coby see you in the cover story.

Miklar Sihn

Just hold onto your after credits scene paranoia, it will do more good than bad even with the series that don't have them.

Mighty Snake

Fun fact Curtis the ending scene for this episode was at the opening of the first hellsing ultimate abridged, so being that you started your anime journey technically there how does it feel to come full circle?

LordNoLife

I a 21 year old man do solemnly swear to mention how many episode we are away from catching up to one piece on every single episode that Curtis reacts to and I do not care how long that takes. And on that note: We are 872 episodes away from catching up

Zachary Provenzano

thats the joy i have with One Piece its a very well done linear story line of the crew going in a somewhat straight line to WELL the Grand Line in hopes to some day find dare i say it again WELL lol One Piece ^~^

Calculation time: So let's say the average amount of episodes between breaks is 60 (as is the case with the first break). And there are 313 days that's curtis uploads per year taking sundays into consideration. During breaks there will be a shorter anime to enjoy and for the sake of calculation I'll say they'll be 24 episodes, which is a pretty standard for runtime. If we watch 4 sections of one piece in a year, there will be 3 break anime in between these of 24 episodes each. So, (60*4 =240 one piece episodes) and (24*3 =72 break anime). (240+72 = 312 total episodes of anime) which is only one day shy of the 313 uploads in a year. So, the average amount of one piece episodes per year is 240(not taking into consideration varying lengths of series in between, or amount of episodes between each break). That being said of we watch 240 eps per year. With filler, there are 876 episodes of one piece, and without filler there are 769 episodes. So far the final calculation shows: w/ filler: 3.65 years w/o filler: 3.20 years We also need to attribute for the weekly release schedule of new episodes (assuming all canon and no breaks for sake of calculation) that's an extra 52 eps per year. Or: New eps w/ filler: 189.8 total New eps w/o filler: 166.4 total 240 reactions occur in one year of uploads so this will add: Added time w/ filler: 0.79 years Added time w/o filler: 0.69 years Therefore the total time spent catching up to one piece will be: w/ filler: 4.44 years =1620.6 days Finish on: Tuesday, August 8, 2023 w/o filler: 3.89 years =1419.85 days Finish on: Thursday, January 19, 2023 (I took off 3 days for episodes already watched) Obviously theres lots of error here it's just a very rough estimation, I needed something to do before class lol. Feel free to laugh at my prediction when I'm wrong in 4 years

Heisenberg101

'The power to cause tsunamis' Damn Oda you genius XD

SilversLyfe

Curtis there will be people who want you to skip filler but knowing you I think you’d really enjoy all the filler save for maybe 15 episodes in total throughout the series. The filler does a great job of furthering the character depth of each main character

MarvelKnight101

LOVE IT!!! Can't wait for tomorrow's episode!!

Sloopgamer

How long will the animes go in the breaks of One Piece? Will there be a 12 episodes or 25 episodes anime?

James

Don't get wrong, I love One Piece alot, but I just started watching JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and holy shit is it amazing, though so far Hunter x Hunter is still my favorite.

Dieser mensch

all the other one piece reactors, reacting to 5 episodes per video and they cath up pretty fast pleeeeeeeaaasee do it also like this CURTIS-SAN :D

Wishmaker007

This is going to be frustratingly long with 1 episode each day but I've come to appreciate your analyzing and taking in the whole episode so I hope for more of your one piece reaction adventures :)

CrossZ

Yeah One Piece does a good job of setting up this great big world.... and then it actually delivers on that. Even little tiny details come back and tbh I forget about stuff sometimes only for some post online to remind me that they set something up hundreds of chapters ago.

I'm kinda enjoying the prospect of taking this long journey. I think it'll be fun and insanely bittersweet when it all comes to a conclusion. :-)

Hearing Zoro call Luffy the son of the devil is hilarious.

Hi Curtis, I know recently you've been hearing a lot of talk as to what to watch and when to watch it. Remember just about all of us have been and are still on board riding with you all the way. I'm saying do whatever you need to do, cause lots of us have, and will still continue to love all of it.

Rixadzin

You have no idea how much you will like Luffy, Zoro and everyone. I am SOOOO looking forward to joining this pirate adventure with you.

I am SO excited for this adventure. Especially now, with a few episodes under my belt and already loving these characters and storytelling!

Tony Gilbert King

I dont know what shanks scenes you've watched but its probably most of them also... one piece!! goosh goosh

Anonymous

Ok im gonna be honest, if we get the option to vote to skip a "break" from One Piece... im gonna be one of the ones voting for a yes.

Richie Roberts

Super excited to see you watching One Piece. Honestly it's the best written story. If the story telling in Naruto blew your mind, then take some calming medication because Oda is about to turn it to 100. Lastly, I don't know if anyone has told you yet, but the openings for this show tend to be full of spoilers for upcoming arcs. I think the first 2 are fine, but from 3 on they can get pretty spoilerific. I suggest asking the community when the best time is to go back and check them out. Most of the reactors who I see watching One piece will watch them in batches after a while. Just trying to look out for you so you don't get major spoilers about the show. Can't wait for more.

Jyiber

It's really quaint flashing back to the scale of fights this early in the series... it's a fairly gradual incline to mountain shattering power levels of today.

Thanks, My Friend! Yes, ever since Naruto, I skip openings until I know I'm safely past any spoilers. :-)

AceOfSerberit

OK I've not been able to be here for a while so I'm a bit out of the loop, but I was under the impression that One Piece would just take up a slot for daily reactions for the duration of the run. Bu the comments talk about breaks. I was want to be up to speed, thanks in advace

Miasimon

I don't think it's a spoiler to say that if you see a side character you like, chances are that you'll see them again. Oda likes to revisit characters or bring them back hundreds of episodes after their arc ended.
