Fucking alternate dimension having amusement park rides. I always knew that the most magical place on earth wasn't practicing white magic. Also if we're on the subject of horror, I've got a story I've been meaning to share. A little while back (about a week or two now) I was driving home. I work the evening shift so when I get home it's usually around 12:30 in the morning or so. Usually the roads are deserted, save for the odd car. So I usually enjoy my drive home, put on some music and just relax a little. The leg right before you get to my place is a stretch of farmland on both sides of the road. Mostly fields, the odd barn or house that sort of thing. At one point there's a point where another country road connects to the one I'm driving on. That night a car pulled up to the intersection and flew right by it. Then it started following me for a while. When I passed it I didn't think nothing of it until I saw the headlights in the rearview mirror. The car was following uncomfortably close and it's headlights were an odd colour. Kind of an odd bluish-white colour and not the kind you see on some of the more modern cars. It felt like they were getting closer and closer. Obviously I was kind of freaked out since this person was basically on my ass. So I signalled to pull over and let the asshole go by me, trying not to end up in an accident. It was an abrupt pullover, could've easily turned into an accident. But then I looked behind me saw a brief glimpse of the headlights as they turned off the road. And then it was gone, like it'd never been there. Completely disappeared, not a sign of it no brake-lights, nothing. Also when I thought about it there was no way anyone could've turned off there. There was only one way off the road between that intersection and where I'd stopped. And I was right beside it, while this guy had turned off right behind me. I've driven this road 100s of times throughout my life. Both as a passenger and now as a driver. I know it like the back of my hand. There's no way anyone could've turned off it. Was I just seeing things? Or did I see a ghost car? Who knows. Haven't seen it since.

Excellent story! I have no belief, of course, in the occult, but unexplainable stories like that fascinate me... I have a similar one: I was driving a wing plow during a snowstorm. Because it was a wing, I had another guy, Don, with me. We were heading up one of the state roads that run through the city I worked for. We were in the teeth of the storm, so there was basically no traffic on the road... Except for one tractor trailer. We could see it heading up a long, gradual hill on the road. We were moving faster than the truck so we were consistently gaining on it. Dim and I remarked how dumb this guy had to be, trying to get through this storm rather than waiting it out. All his trailer lights were very clear to us. We had gotten to within probably 50 yards of him, with maybe a mile before he would be out if the city... He went down one of the rolling hills of the road so we lost sight of him. Just a couple moments later, we crested a hill where we’d clearly be able to see him again... Except the truck was gone. There was no place to turn off where we wouldn’t have seen him in that short a time. I said, “Where the Hell did that truck go?!” Dom’s Eyes were wide and all he could say was “What the fuck?!” There was NO place for that truck to have gone, but it was!... To this day, neither Dom or I have any idea what happened.

Funny enough, there was a joke said by the Imagineers that built the ride. They joked that Walt had wanted adults to feel uncomfortable on the hard wooden seats while creepy dolls watched them go by and of course the kids are just elated.
