If you wanne see Luffy kicking ass, you will love the Arlong Arc.

In this episode what I loved most of your reaction were: "I feel a little better about the butler" .... (later) "Never mind" And you not having any concern about Luffy felling off a cliff. Also as can be seen from Luffy or the kids, hypnotism works, if the target watches the ring (is stupid enough)

Yea, hypnosis as a weapon isn’t overly powerful, as the complicated defense would be... Look away. 😂

MarvelKnight101

Loved the episode!!! Murder Plan is a GO!! LUFFY! ITS TIME TO KICK SOME ASS!! Just a fun fact about Usopp, his birthday is April 1st. It being April Fools Day and him being a big liar! The creator Oda, gave us that little jewel!! Hope you enjoy it!!

Curtis, are you aware that there are a few filler arcs and episodes that you need to skip ? I think the first filler episodes are at like episode 50+

Chris D. Jones

He was being a dick so he got punched. He broke the golden rule “Don’t be a dick”

The Muddler

We finally made it to the double digits.

The sad thing is, Luffy will always look if you tell him to, so Jango's hypnotism is at least super effective against idiots

Schmul Sjifris

The reason they didnt look away was because they didnt know he was a hypnotist, Usopp just thought it was a throwing weapon (it actually is a chakram he's got there) and Luffy sure didnt make any connections. But when you know that he's a hypnotist, yeah totally worthless in a fight. Or actually🤔 Maybe you could do like with Gons jajanken. Try to hypnotize them to make them look away and leave themselves open. It might work well as a feint since they cant keep you inside their field of vision If it is your only weapon however... Yeah, no way it would be effective

That's cool... I always tease my wife about being born one day away from April Fool's Day. I tell her she was too late, so it's not fair she's played this trick on me. :-D

The word I've been getting on OP filler is a lot of people like it, and they've been encouraging me to watch it. :-)

Day 9 of my oath: I a 21 year old man do solemnly swear to mention how many episode we are away from catching up to one piece on every single episode that Curtis reacts to and I do not care how long that takes. And on that note: We are 865 episodes away from catching up. ,

A moon walking hypnotist who tries to hypnotize little children reminds me too much of Michael Jackson. Kids beware!!!

Kuro annoys the hell out of me, not because of his plans or anything, but because of his constantly fixing his glasses. EVERY time he does that, I feel the need to adjust my own lol

THE GOOSH!

Wow! It's so cool to know that I'm not the only one who does that! Whenever I see someone adjust theirs, I adjust mine. Seeing him do it in here, I sometimes have to catch myself from reaching up for my glasses, as I'm usually wearing them, but don't during recordings because the screen is too close to me. :-D

Don't spoil some arcs!!! Why do you do that? Let him take this journey without hype or something like that

Sloopgamer

Can't wait for the next ones! :D

SilversLyfe

Glad to see how much you’re enjoying these early episodes Curtis. They really set the groundwork for the crazy adventure to come

The Abyssal Drink

Don't know if you've noticed the parallel between Usopp and Gon with both of them having fathers that left them, no mother, and they both respect their father's decision and even want to pursue the same thing. Why can't fathers irl be anime fathers?

Jamie Gordon

A bit of interesting trivia. Captain Ax Hand Morgan from episode 2 and 3, was promoted for "capturing" captain Kuro

Sean Nelson

I always like kuro and 90% of that was my first introduction to one piece was a bad translated fighter from several consoles ago that had him as a playable character. He didnt do a ton of damage but was almost twice as fast and was easy to spam with. Just remember trolling my cousins with him.
