Now that you're this far it'd be a good time to recommend Yuyu Hakusho abridged. 2nd to YGOTAS it's probably the oldest abridged series. This is as far as they made it because the creator went on to become one of the founders of TeamFourStar in which he voices Vegeta, Piccolo, Krillin, etc.

So are we to assume both Tugoro brothers are dead even though only one got stabbed? 🤣🤣🤣

Controversial opinion: I think Yu Yu Hakusho has some of the best written female characters of any shounen anime. Yukina influences the plot more by being a restraint on Hiei, an inspiration for Kuwabara, and a bridge between human and demon relations than Sakura ever did attempting to fight on the front-lines in Naruto. You don't have to be a fighter to be a good character.

next episode is the start of the best arc imo

we are officially past the prologue.

"We have to do something. Hiei is forbidden to take human life!" Meanwhile he already sliced and diced the three henchmen.

Re-watching this makes me appreciate kuwabara a lot more than I did when I first watched it. Dudes the perfect bro

To me this is Sabat's best performance, Vegeta might be more well-known but its no contest for me.

Since we didn't see any blood, I think we are supposed to assume they were knocked out.

Everyone on board the hype train for the next episode!

I think part of the reason Hiei doesn't tell Yukina is this. He's a criminal who's done many terrible things. (At the beginning of the series he's honestly not much different from the Toguro brothers). Whereas his sister is an incredibly gentle soul. I guess he thinks that his sister knowing the path her brother has gone down would just cause her more grief. And she's suffered enough. Also the wedding's gonna be awkward since Hiei and Kuwabara hate each other.

he almost spoiled himself with the preview lol

If you remember HxH, Togashi is going to pull an HxH in the upcoming episodes. lol Maybe you can predict what happens. lol

"Taking a blast from the back." If you know what I mean. Lol

And at this point, I can recommend Lanipators' early abridgement work of Yu Yu Hakusho. This was before he made TeamFourStar and which is still funny today. He does cover one movie, but I don't know a fan of the show who likes the movie, and he does it justice.

So why didn’t he just extend his sword instead of getting blasted 😂😂😂
