Hey, Gang...

I see things are getting a bit heated in the poll thread. I don't want us GOOSHERs to let our home here devolve into something like YouTube comments section, so I want to outline for you a plan I have going forward that I think will make as many people happy as possible:

In the poll, JoJo and Avatar have moved out to a huge lead over the others, with it looking like Avatar will win. What I'm thinking of doing is, watching Avatar, then directly following it with JoJo. I think it's safe to say that JoJo would be voted in soon anyway.

Then, we're watching Yu Yu right now, and as you guys know, after that is Bebop, Hellsing Ultimate, then Death Note. After Yu Yu, none of those are particularly long series. What I'll do there is take these series that I know a lot of people enjoy, but haven't been able to win a poll, and watch them there.

We would start with shorter series - like maybe The Promised Neverland - and work our way through things like Code Geass, Attack on Titan, Hajime No Ippo, etc. As I said, doing the shorter nes first. This way, people who enjoy these series will know they're upcoming.

Of course, we'll also be running a poll when the time comes to find a successor to JoJo. I'll also poll you guys every time we come up to a "break point" of One Piece to see if you want to break to watch something else or keep going with OP.

Add to that, the fact that we have a number of very generous GOOSHER 100 folks here who have us able to watch a bunch of awesome series, and I think the selection here will be top rate.

So, what do you guys think?

Curtis, my man, you never fail to amaze me. I like it.

Good for me👍🏾

Nuzso121

Sounds good to me you old pervy sage

Patrik

I've got mixed feelings on JoJo, but as for the schedule itself, I'm all for it.

James

Oh my gosh, I was so stressed JoJo wouldn't win, thanks Curtis at least now I can be patient knowing it'll come soon! :)

Mighty Snake

Curtis for president! This is expert level peace keeping. I like this idea but my question is how can we get you to watch hentai?

Coco XLarge

Jojo would've won if kids didn't vote avatar in spite

Gigamac24

Great idea Curtis, I think it's safe to get 2 big ones, avatar and jojo, out of the way with a small one after. In the end, it's your schedule so do what you want.

stuart matthew stokes

Hey Curtis I would like ask if assassination classroom could also be added after those since it seemed to have a lot of support 40 votes

Anonymous

Given that Avatar is only 61 episodes, it should only take ~3 months to finish, which isn't too long for those of us who don't like it, and then we can move onto Jojo. Great job, Curtis!

Anonymous

Whatever you wanna do big daddy curtis! No matter what you watch I'll still watch, even if I personally don't think it fits said category. *avatar*

THE GOOSH!

Absolutely! I REALLY liked episode 1 of AC! Again, it'll be a little bit until we get through what we have scheduled, but then I wouldn't have any problem adding AC to that mix. :-)

Anonymous

Couldn't ask for a better plan. A round of applause for curtis👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Dandy

I like the way you have it laid out. I think the problem is always gonna be that there's only one of you but hundreds of us and we all have a different anime you NEED to see lol. I guess one of the bigger problems that you can run into with a schedule like this, is having the same 3 series running for longer than a month ( Assuming there's no planned break in One Piece or YuYu while Avatar is going on). I am personally fine with it, but I can see how someone who might not care for any of these shows may become disinterested. Honestly though, keep rocking this schedule, I dig it and I think eventually we'll drag you through Trigun, Hajime no Ippo, Code Geass, etc.

Anonymous

It is fine with me, but I really do not care all that much since you are trying your best to get to all of them. What you can't do now can be saved for later.

Anonymous

I love this idea its a great way to stop the negativity and being able to see two great shows without having to choose one great job curtis

Anonymous

Watch First hajime no ippo then im satisfised and you too

Charlie

Curtis can you run for president?

mfasi

I really hope we don't take any breaks with one piece tbh it's too good to get distracted on another show imo

Anonymous

Sounds like a good plan Curtis!

Chrome

yeah I like that idea, we could finally see series like Tanya and trigun as well, I'd suggest Cromartie high as well cause it has anime Freddie mercury in it, or Level E cause it's a comedy anime done by HXH's creator. Also I know this is a long way off but the promised neverland may make sense to wait a while for, season 2 was just announced for next year so waiting to do both seasons makes sense

Anonymous

Yeah this is a great idea, it should quell the storm so to speak

Anonymous

Damn, I was wondering why a new episode didn’t air last Thursday. I was hoping it wasn’t the case, but it looks like I’ll be waiting for an entire year...

Krzysztof Gaweł-Kucab

I'm fine as long as i see you react to Hajime no Ippo, Trigun and Berserk (old one), just know you will love them

Chrome

so for these shorter series how would you decide what ones to start first? would you just ask people for opinions on them or look them up yourself after seeing they've been voted on a lot, cause for some of them like the promised neverland it's best to go in blind or you'd get spoilt

Batman's Pet Goldfish

Sounds good! Keep in mind that Attack on Titan has a Part 2 of season 3 coming up this season (though you wont get to it before it finishes airing.) Judging by your pace and the series coming up, you should end up finishing Yu Yu, Bebop, Hellsing Ultimate, and Death Note around the first week of October. Keeping that in mind, Promised Neverland has a second season airing in 2020 and by then we should have an air date for the show. If it's airing in the winter anime season you might want to hold off on it and watch the other shows so that you can see the whole show when you watch it. If it airs any later than the winter anime season, then I would say to go with Promised Neverland first.

THE GOOSH!

I may be wrong, but I think continuing on will win the poll... Especially with how many other series we have going on. :-)

THE GOOSH!

Yea, I'll make the call on those (just to avoid arguments) based on things I've heard from you guys. Not just in polls, but in every day conversations. :-)

IzzO

i have no room for jojo either, so im in for a long loong time of cringe.

Meelog Malterion

what do I personally think?......well Baldman....im definitely going to vote for you as president of the new world when Golden Gets Bored of life under your floorboards and decides to Goosh all the world leaders

Dawid

I just hope you will watch code geass as soon as you can, only 50 episodes of joy and greatness, and knwoing you, i'm sure you're gonna get those OMFG WTF JUST HAPPENED, which i love <3

Lewd Angel

Would definitely need more details on how exactly you're gonna choose the shows that we do. How and where would you get the feedback from? What would the order of the anime be? If we're doing the shorter first longer later format, what happens when a show people really wanna see is longer than what we're doing right now? (Cause theres a LOT of short anime for u to get through and that might take a while in and of itself) Or of course vice versa. Otherwise it sounds like a good enough idea to prevent clusterfucks from happening again.....hopefully

Turza

I like it... most of the series mentioned I really like and think you will like as well... especially hajime no ippo since it's right up your ally

PKKite

I like it but the JoJo fandom needs to get their head out their own asses at times

Anonymous

I like the idea my only question is what’s your thoughts on the anime that are already set in stone like hellsing ultimate and death note and the other what’s your thought on having a vote on which one of those you should watch next as one ends

Mj

Kuroko no basket god sakes

DarkRaven

the one piece is going to be a long trip to reach the end

Steven Fechter

Even daily it will take 3 years to catch up and then it will still be continuing weekly until either curtis or oda dies.

Brandon Nowakowski

I think this sounds good. Everyone gets more or less satisfied when you divide it up between two categories (super-popular vs more niche).

THE GOOSH!

No, I've had their schedule set since I was forced to move the reactions here from YouTube. They are, Yu Yu, Bebop, Hellsing Ultimate and Death Note. :-)

Daniel Gonzalez

Whatever you think is good works for me Curtis personally I was getting a little annoyed by all the sniping and name calling by some people since I remember you saying the goosh shouldn't be that way we should be better than YouTube

THE GOOSH!

I agree! The last thing I want is for our little community here to be reflective of YouTube's toxicity.

Acoleyte

The sad dilemma of too much anime and not enough time.

Condevo

Please don’t stop OP. Loved ur Naruto reactions and when I found out you were doing OP I had to join here and follow your journey. Just one opinion but do whatever is best for you obviously!

Almighty Popo

When are the one piece stopping points

Anonymous

I like this plan nice 👍🏻

THE GOOSH!

Chrome made us a list... I think the first one is around 61 or so. I'll put up a poll about continuing or taking a break when we're about 10 episodes away.

Anonymous

this is great jojo and avatar are both must see series
