Having his predecessor onboard looks like it will be huge for Aang! He certainly convinced the Fire Nation boys that hanging around wasn't a good idea!

Zhao: "Ready...FIRE!" Roku: "Oh shame for you...you've activated my Ḁ̶͖̣̱̮̂̅͋́͊͑̐̚͜ͅV̶̨̹̹̳͎͝A̷̢̛̫͛͆̊̎̅̌͂̚̚T̵̨̧̧̝̩̫̟͈̯̞̰͖̭̱̜̈́̀͊̉̃͑͂̇́̕͘͝͠Â̴̛͔̬̼̝̈̍̎͌͐̅̔͒̏̓͝͝͝R̷̭̮͈̖͚̖͑̊̓͐."

I love the fact that Roku just used fire bending to destroy everything, like he doesn’t need the other elements at his disposal to beat these guys ass. Also the firebenders were way stronger than normal and the air nomads still killed a lot of them.

Soulley

Idk if they are symbolic, but whenever i see Zukos boat compared to other firebending officers his boat is always the smallest. Makes me feel like they dont really care about him.

Not sure if this counts as spoilers or simply additional lore info, but he actually technically Earthbended here. Lavabending is a subset of Earthbending.

CrossZ

I totally forgot it took until this episode for the time limit to come up. But that's one great thing about this show. It doesn't frontload all the lore and stuff. It gives you it bit by bit so it's easy to understand.

Miasimon

Anyone know what that song's called that plays at the end of some episodes, like this one? It sounds like loneliness and depression..

It's called "Safe Return." The full version is only 22 seconds, but you can probably find extended covers.

Middleman850

I just hope the avatar masters nen and finds one piece before the 10 tails is released.

The series does a good job of giving a variety of antagonists. You can like Zuko and Iroh, but still recognize that Zuko is almost Terminator-like in his pursuit and Iroh is a man you don't want to cross. I like episodes like this where you can contrast them with someone like Zhao, who in many ways is your more traditional antagonist, equally ruthless, but smarmy and arrogant, and with lots of resources at his disposal.

Spoilers: He will sadly be stopped by an enemy stand just before reaching the one piece and have to rely on alchemy instead.

Avatar such an amazing show! You’re gonna love it Curtis 😊 Storytelling is just as good as most anime!! AND THATS SAYING SOMTHING!
