Normally, I root for my boy, Big Ging, but this time I'm thinking it might have been better had he lost at Rock Paper Scissors!

Akettaja The Finnish Moron

Curtis you do know the guy from the flashback though. It’s the guy who was working with Hiei and Kurama to obtain the three times at the start of the show.

I can't tell you why, but for some reason, that scene where Yusuke saves Puu, is extremely touching to me. Hits me on a personal level. One of my favorite scenes in all of anime.

Hammerface1

Always got to me watching Puu try to bring Yusuke water

Miklar Sihn

I can't remember what actual abilities this gives him (I saw the show once a while ago and can therefore only remember major spoilers). But by my understanding, most of genkai's moves have been applications of the spirit wave.

Waiting for One Piece lol

Yusuke's "SCREW THIS TEST I'M GETTING US OUT OF HERE!" always brings tears to the eyes. This show just speaks to me.

I'm actually surprised by all the fingers thrown in this show did not remember that as a kid tho maybe it was censored on toonami puu was mvp of the episode also yoko kurama is badass and hiei is awesome especially because of how his back and forth with the rest of our crew

In the manga, those are all just thumbs-down gestures, but Funimation decided those were too negative, so they censored them with middle-fingers.

Awww, that image of Puu trying to bring Yusuke water just melts my heart. Also just yesterday I was thinking, wait both Kurama and Koto are fox demons right? And sure as taxes this episode they have Koto going gaga over Kurama's demon form.

CrossZ

Yusuke passing the test is a perfect blend of heartwarming and badass.

The guy in the flashback was one of yusukes first real demon opponents which you saw him fight.

DevilJynx

I get teary eyed over the Yusuke moment where he masters Genkai's powers.

Not gonna lie Curtis. I was kinda yelling at you a bit this episode. You were having a good old time watching this episode but when you started Laughing at Pu I kind of Lost it a bit. (Eventually I'll learn people can't hear me when I yell at the screen!) Loving the reactions man. So much Fun & Nostalgia. Thanks a bunch my friend!
