This really unlikely duo is very easy to root for! They're both definite underdogs who are grinding it out old school to try and achieve bigger and better things!

There'll be no Yu Yu Hakusho today since he posted it yesterday

Miklar Sihn

Garp is the goodest of boys.

J.t. Fowlkes

Well u have to understand that Coby and Luffy are on opposite sides even though there friends Liuffy a pirate and Coby is a Marine and the end of the day they can't be seen to friendly with each other Coby will be kicked out the Marines if that's the case

V_VMat

Episode 313, so see you in about a year 😂

Redemption

What you hidin' that newspaper for Nami? O-O

Jyiber

Wow, I forgot that they foreshadowed Garp this early. It's funny that he's the one who took Coby in and overheard who his friend was given Garp's connection to said friend *wink-wink nudge-nudge*

Blackeye

Garp is my favorite character 😍💪🏿

Helmeppo's situation is kinda understandable... he was raised by a shitty father and he was basically rich too. That's an easy combo to lead to a bratty asshole. Now that he's got a taste of the real world and saw his dad for who he really was he's decided to be a man! Still his motivation was kinda more realistic(majority of humans get jobs and better themselves to live an easier life lol) instead of super anime naive... and that's not a bad thing... I'd say because he was still a young man before his turn he's redeemed himself in my eyes.

Day 61 of my oath: I a 22 year old man do solemnly swear to mention how many episode we are away from catching up to one piece on every single episode that Curtis reacts to and I do not care how long that takes. And on that note: We are 815 away from catching up, no change due to new episode

I love how garp is pretty much a massive troll

Miasimon

I swear... I'd bet all my money that Coby has a crush on Luffy.

Oda: Hey, remember that wimpy side character and that stuck up minor antagonist you all hated? Imma make em badasses! 💪🏻💪🏻

Taking that character from where he started and even getting him to a point where we didn’t all still hate him was tough enough, but actually fleshing his character out and making him at least interesting is pretty impressive. Major credit to oda for how he handles characters like that

I was thinking you would just move on to the next episode of Yu Yu today, but I guess not?

Think he said it was just one piece and avatar today then back to regular schedule with yuyu tomorrow

while they are often villains the marines in one piece are always morally grey characters. with a few exceptions such as Coby. I never think of the marines in one piece as villains for that reason its more like they are anti hero's.

Heisenberg101

Anyone notice Helmeppo using two wooden swords in the end there? Oda with the foreshadowing again, damn

AceOfSerberit

I really like Hellmeppo here. It's easy to talk about joint responsability when you're makign others share in your screw ups. But it takes a big man to that eaily take blame for something someones else did
