Uncle Iroh's mentorship of Zuko is REALLY cool! Meanwhile, Aang's earth bending is finally coming along, despite no heavy doses of positive reinforcement. :-D

One of my favourite Avatar episodes!

I feel like these characters are so simple with the way the story telling is even though they are all fairly complex characters. They all have tragedies in their past that make them who they are. Side note: I’m ready for your reaction to this next episode

When I heard Iroh say "No, she's crazy and needs to go down.", that is one of the funniest lines I've ever heard. Not just what he says, but the way he says it just slays me every time.

Garlic

By the time I'm Iroh's age I hope I'm as chill as he is.

FrisbeeDude42

I feel like a particular bit of iroh in book 3 will put him above sokka :)

Valrenas

Somebody has probably mentioned this, but if you have ever seen the movie Hook with Robin Williams before, you've heard Zuko's voice, his voice actor was Rufio

for me my top characters have always been Iroh, Toph and Azula, I just love the characters in the series, Iroh is one of the best characters in all of entertainment too me, a lot of his background is quietly given out through the series, like the first time we find out about his son and we slowly see how it affected him for the rest of his life, his loss devastated him and it's not said but one of the worst parts is probably that he was the reason his son was in the battle he died at in the first place, meaning he probably blames himself.

Its been a while since i've seen all these quotes in context...*COUGH* if you know what I mean

Tyler

I always loved hearing Iroh talk about the four elements/nations.

Nicholas

“No, she’s crazy and she needs to go.” This is why Iroh is the best. You always expect him to be one of the peaceful zen types, but then he says unpredictable things like that.

Liesmith

I love the scene of Zuko in the rain, screaming defiantly at a storm.

Akettaja The Finnish Moron

I wonder who is actually stronger, Azula or Iroh? Both can bend lightning and are great with fire overall....

I'd say Iroh has the edge just because of his vast experience in battle. Otherwise they are pretty evenly matched.

This show has a whole slew of amazing characters. I never could pick out a favorite. It's the sign of a really good show when you're forced to sit back and say they are all too good to pick one.

As an edgy teen i always like zuko haha. Still do. I love his character development and the scene at the end of this episode always hits home

The scene with Zuko on the mountain remains one of my favorites to this day. It never fails to hit home for me. The utter desperation and frustration just radiate from the screen, and it gives me chills every single time I rewatch it.

Di

Toph and iroh are my favorite characters.

Miklar Sihn

My top list for this show was always Toph, Bumi, Iroh, Sokka. But now i can't help thinking hard on Momo and Appa. They show a surprising amount of personality and timing. Also i always liked the big softy trait and that is both literally and figuratively true of Appa.

Between this episode and the next one, SIX short comics take place. In order they are: Sleepbending http://www.mediafire.com/file/502mh92p2dboycd/35%2529_Sleepbending.pdf/file Lessons https://www.mediafire.com/file/z65d74653f5e1d5/36%29_Lessons.pdf/file Sokka The Avatar https://www.mediafire.com/file/wtgl61ft6pdypo7/37%29_Sokka_The_Avatar.pdf/file Dirty Is Only Skin Deep https://www.mediafire.com/file/u998dr1xcwy957y/38%29_Dirty_Is_Only_Skin_Deep.pdf/file Divided We Fall https://www.mediafire.com/file/c4jzooblbqja35b/39%29_Divided_We_Fall.pdf/file & Reach For The Toph https://www.mediafire.com/file/6not6a21g7tooip/40%29_Reach_For_The_Toph.pdf/file

Miasimon

"Go on, strike me! You never held back, before!" That line always gives me chills.. the cry of a man who was struck down in just about everything he's ever done.

Anciient

"Is this really the best way to teach Aang earthbending?" Says the waterbender.

grant pflum

You ever consider reacting to american dragon, its voiced by Zuko.
