Blackeye

Rip Doctor ❤️ :(

The Overlord of Ice

At first Wapol was this annoying villain that you just want to go away, now is a asshole villain that deserves a pounding.

Chopper's backstory has some of the best writing in all of One Piece, especially Hiriluk's speech, never fails to make me tear up a little bit.

J.t. Fowlkes

Walpo needs a to get destroyed in all of One Piece he's the second most annoying villain I would the you the first but it gonna take such a long time to get to that point I will tell u the first when we get there I be sure to put it in the comments

interested party

rudolf can eat a dick, I've always liked blue more then red anyway

Dertheaa

I'm not crying, you are crying.

Gigamac24

Yeah choppers is backstory is beautiful, the speech at the end by hiruruk is absolutely brilliant. Genius writing

Duke

hiriluk speech is among the best in the series.

Dandy

Chopper's backstory passed Nami's as my favorite backstory when I first watched it, but it gets taken over by multiple stories later on from characters who aren't even part of the main crew.

mfasi

This is one of the best backstorys but it's just the tip of the iceberg imo

Anonymous

Yeah very sad backstory

Aidan

Nurufufufu believe us Curtis your top backstories will be mainly from the straw hats and maybe a few others.

Nezu Mikey

I've watched his backstory about ten times and it still made me cry this time~

GoldArthur

Curtis, just in case you didn't get the implication, he blew himself up so that Chopper's poison wouldn't be the reason he died.

Vinsmoke Sannan

Chopper's backstory is amazing but its still tip of the iceberg for what's yet to come. This series is like a fine wine, it gets better and better with age.

Vinsmoke Sannan

Hiluluk's quote: “When do you think people die? When they are shot through the heart by the bullet of a pistol? No. When they are ravaged by an incurable disease? No. When they drink a soup made from a poisonous mushroom!? No! It’s when… they are forgotten.” will always be on my top 10.

Timelink

This story makes me teary eyed each and every time I watch it, even though it has been close to a dozen times! It's a real testament to the great storytelling ability the creator of One Piece truly has!

Oda is great the fact he can make it this series not just about the main crew members and give us insite on other characters in the story

SuperiorSpiderBoy

God damn, had to hold back the tears on this one.

THE GOOSH!

I so wholeheartedly agree with all of you about Hiriluk's speech! Particularly for me now, as I get older, and I sometimes start thinking about the legacy I'll leave, that speech REALLY hits hard!

Master Zed

wow... this actually made me cry. i never knew the stories in one piece were this good !!

Mighty Snake

I want zoro to shove his swords so far up wapol's ass that whoever can pull it out will be the next king of drum island

J Johnson

One piece is filled with emotional backstories, there will be minor side characters later on who are only around for a single story arc that get super emotional backstories, Oda (the author) is a master of pulling on heartstrings.

Jcw490

I still tear up every time he says his speech and you see dalton's tears. 30 times I've seen it and it still gets to me

True but its still really high up even 800 chapters/episodes later. Its incredible how many emotions it makes you feel over a character and characters youve only seen for a few episodes

Tony Gilbert King

Just recognized choppers enraged yell when he transforms ;)

I'm up to date with One Piece, but I love watching your reactions to the show. Remembering feeling the exact same way sometimes as well.

Miasimon

Chopper's backstory is probably either my favorite or 2nd favorite backstory in One Piece. I swear this show is the most misleading thing I've ever seen. You go in and see the cheerful mood, laughing friends and badassery... then they sucker punch you with episodes like this.

Jonny Goosh

I actually never noticed that Chopper's antler is attached with a metal band ever since it broke off way back then, that's a cool detail!

Gabriel Phipps

I’ve never been able to watch this episode without becoming a bawling mess by the end of it.

Dallas Winston

A long time ago in a Galaxy far far away...... Derishesheshe
