Not only is Dio's power becoming more and more impressive, but he's also apparently a top-notch recruiter of other psychos!

I don't know if anyone has said anything yet, but Dio Brando is named after the rockstar Dio. Look for the 80's references in this show Curtis.

Yes they definitely had a moment.

Yeah, in case you didn't get what Johan was saying, you tagged this episode avatar.

you know it's weird, out of everything in this episode the first thing that stood out to me was that they gave Mary Queen of Scots black hair instead of the ginger she's portrayed as in every portrait of her lol, well on top of Bruford and Tarkus being completely made up and not actually real people at all lol.

First we had Pearl Jam in One Piece and now Led Zeppelin in JoJo! Who's next?

Also let's not forget that Mary wasn't completely innocent in this whole affair. She did in fact plot to kill Elizabeth prior to being executed.

Yeah, they gotta stop using Hypnosis incorrectly in these series. It can't make you do something you would normally concsiously refuse to do.

Don't know why but I hate Elizabeth even more than Dio just for that

I account it more to vampire suggestion. A classic power. He used it on Jack the Ripper in episode 4.

Bruford (censored to Blueford) is named after the Drummer in Yes. Yes is the group that does Roundabout, the end credits song to this part of JoJo.

Meanwhile Takus (Changed here to Tarkus do to those pesky copyright issues) is named after an album by Emerson, Lake and Palmer) Figure you'd want to know these Curtis :D

Also, you don't get to see this in the anime, but in the manga Speedwagon gets in on the action and destroys some of the mook zombies with a warhammer

"He's become an accomplished piece of shit" made me laugh
