Hey, Gang...

Chrome brought to my attention the tragedy that happened at the Kyoto Studio. It's unimaginably evil!... I always update you guys when we, as a community, donate to a cause, and I felt this was something we needed to be a part of.

If you want to check out the GoFundMe yourself, it is at:  https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-kyoani-heal

Someone broke into the Kyoto Animation building and set it on fire, quite a few deaths and serious casualties

Freddy Jimenez

Not going to lie I was debating if I wanted to keep my five dollar patron But considering you did this I would keep it because I will feel like my money is going to a better cause. Keep it up

Dojee

good thing you doing a shoutout, this needs attention

Chrome

as of now there's 33 dead 36 in the hospital, buildings destroyed, the studio only had 130 employees, so a quarter of them were murdered, some are seriously injured so the death toll could rise... , the arsonist was caught and when asked why he did it said “I was ripped off. I poured the gasoline. I lit the fire with a lighter.”, they currently think he did it cause he was mad with the direction the studio had went with their series, the suspect will be currently facing the death penalty, probably by hanging so at least this sick piece of shit will face a little justice.

oh jesus, he was pouring gasoline on the employees themselves it turns out, he set one of the female employees on fire, this guy was true evil

Irimu

Hes not going to jail. As of now hes facing the death penalty.

Phillip Ribbink

Just donated. From what I've read here I feel the guy deserves nothing less than the death penalty. And with Japan's 99.9% conviction rating he'll most likely get it.

George

What happened

Gigamac24

Pretty fucked, just donated. Gooshers are more than just a bunch of weebs. We can make a a difference.

Miklar Sihn

Some reports say that Yasuhiro Takamoto is among the dead. If so we have lost the director of shows like Nichijou and Full Metal Panic!

IceMike

donated. Have to say though, as horrible as this is. The fact the entire anime community got together and got $1,307,636 Raised by 40,623 people in 1 day. That's nothing short of amazing.
