Damn, this show continually and effectively gets to my feels! I thought it would be difficult for Vivi to leave her country, but it was still really sad seeing her say goodbye!

The link isn't working for me today :/

this is one of the most iconic scenes in One Piece. there are of course many more scenes that will get to your feels to come.

Today marks the 22nd Anniversary of One Piece

Yet another reminder how much of my life I have "wasted" by watching/reading this series (and other mangas/animes)

The Overlord of Ice

Mr.2 at the start of the saga: Im just a weird villain that doesnt care for others Mr.2 at the end of the arc: i will put my life on the line so you can say goodbye to your friend what a guy (?) he is

Michael orejuela

I don't know if anyone has already mentioned it but bon clay (mr.2) looks awfully close to Jim Carrey in dumb and dumber and perhaps that's supposedly what his face is based off of, that and his quirky personality and body language.

Dandy

A lot of characters subvert their initial expectations over time in One Piece, Bon Clay is a great example lol. Starts off seeming like some crazy, cross-dressing fetishist, but then ends up being a semi-decent, respectable (albeit still crazy) kinda guy! And another iconic series moment with the goodbye to Vivi (and Karoo).

THE GOOSH!

Is it still down? All I can guess is that maybe Vimeo is having some localized issues?

Next episode is gonna be hilarious. One of my favorites.

I understand why she couldn't join but it's still bittersweet seeing them leave Vivi on the coast. Alabasta is probably my 3rd or 4th favorite arc but when I had just finished this it was number 1.

Huh, Kazuki Yao had double role in this episode. He voices both Mr.2 and Jango (hypnotist). I checked him for other role though, but interesting tidbit.

To this day I still consider Vivi a strawhat, more than any other character they met and who needed to stay in their home

Schmul Sjifris

Vivi, no!!! Take Chopper instead! Not Vivi! For real though, Vivi is one of my favorite OP characters. I took a character ranking test Vivi was pretty much always in the top 3. And Crocodile always in the top 10😶

Dojee

next arc will be long and good, adventure lies ahead old man!

I've been showing him then when they're meant to be seen around certain episodes, it's not time for this one yet

Dertheaa

Someone said it already earlier but i wanna just remind you someting. Mr2 is not saying ''Oh, come my way'' but ''OKAMA WAY''. OKAMA are men that are dressing like women.

Miasimon

It's not really that Bon Clay is alone and is desperate to have friends. It's that he's just that dedicated to everyone he sees as a friend and would quite literally march into the depths of Hell itself to help one of his friends. Bon Clay is one of my favorite side characters in One Piece because of that.

I seem to have the same error as above.

There will be more characters like Vivi in the future. I won’t say who they are to avoid spoilers but let’s just say the straw hats will eventually have many allies. In my opinion Vivi is one of the best side characters in all of one piece and this arc makes me want to see Curtis get to the impale down arc so much faster. But we got a while before that and the next arc while only slightly important to the main story is still a fun little one. To bad I can’t even say the Titel of the arc without somewhat spoiling it though.

Mr 2 is one of the most surprisingly badass characters in the show. I mean, he's this total weirdo cross-dressing ballerina who's cries at the drop of a hat, but in this moment when he could have run away he chose to sacrifice himself so that people he hardly knew but considered friends could have the chance to meet up with a friend. A totally self-act, he knew he was leading his ship

(Accidentally posted that when I wanted to write a bit more, so, erm continued:)
