What a stunningly good two-parter! The native elder at the beginning and end really tied it all together perfectly!  :-)

the song playing there in the end is called Space Lion, one of the best in the ost imo

This is easily one of the best episodes in all of the anime genre by just the atmosphere alone.

THE GOOSH!

Couldn't agree more!! I really want to try and find some time to go rewatch this two-parter again. It was awesomely immersive!

MarkyO

One of my favorite songs in the entire series.

In the last episode those guys told Vicious that a snake cannot eat a dragon. That may be so but a snake can escape injuries that would kill any other animal.

Honestly, I think your lack of a verbal reaction allowed us to focus on how deeply enthralled by this episode you were. For almost a solid minute around the halfway point, you were just dead silent until Ed came on screen and made you laugh. But I think that just speaks volumes as to how great a story this show has to offer.

Everyone here gets it.

Idk if you noticed by viscous didnt just go off into the sunset. It looked like he was about to make it back to whatever mother ship he originally deployed from. Spike turned around because if he got to close, he wouldve gotten shredded. I assure you if viscious failed to limp back to the mother ship or even just went in another direction, spike wouldve run him down 100%.

Even sometimes when you cant commentate over something because you're to pull in, its still a reaction and a great one
