I got a rush of nostalgia seeing Luffy tell Zoro to stand down! It's gotta be an homage to Shanks' way of doing things, right?

The one fighting over what tastes better with Luffy is a pretty unique character

Tyler

That's a very good call on Luffy calling back to what Shanks did back then.

There’s tons of foreshadowing in these Jaya episodes, you realize them as you get further into the story. Even as a someone who’s seen the series for years it amazes how far back the setups were established.

I bet Oda had pictured the whole story before he even started drawing the manga.

Great job remembering the Shanks and Bandit scene!

Jeremiah

I can't believe you actually remembered that! I'm so proud of you!! So many reactors forget this and it makes it seem like they aren't actually invested but even with your bad memory you're a true blue fan and I love it!! For now on when I call you daddy it only kinda sexual lmao

LOL! I think a lot of it is the huge impression Shanks made on me. I REALLY liked that guy!... Plus, I've become such an anime nerd that my brain is automatically allocating all its memory resources to Japanese cartoons instead of superfluous stuff like the proper procedure for inhale/exhale. :-D

Tyler

Can't wait for them to learn about their updated bounties.
