Steely Dan had obnoxiously worked his way into someone I REALLY wanted to see catch a beatdown, and Jotaro didn't disappoint!

I think i still dig the star platinum beatdown more, even though that one is fanfuckingtastic

Karlimero

you see this kids? this is how you write a heel character and also how to give him a satisfying payoff

what I thought was cool about this was that whenever jotaro said " here is your receipt "I just finished watching stone cold steve Austin on hot ones and he was asked some pro wrestling terminology and one of them was What does giving a receipt mean in pro wrestling? so it kind of lines up with this haha soo good

Jotaro is so badass at the end of this episode. Him writing the receipt never fails to make me smile.

Typically, it means giving someone a potato (a punch in the face). If someone does something disrespectful, they'll get jacked up - typically by a more experienced worker - and that's called giving them a receipt... It can also be used within kayfabe, but most commonly we always used it as when there was a legitimate ass-jacking. :-)

"I really don't approve of this whole 'letting people live' thing" Well boys, I think it's pretty obvious what Curtis' favorite part is going to be by the time he's caught up.

Yes, this is hands-down one of the most satisfying beatdowns in all of Jojos history, debatably the best to some. Also, this solidified that Jotaro 'Stardust Crusaders' rockin saxophone theme song as the ultimate "you're about to get fucked up" indicator lol

Remember how Dio's cells could of been defeated by channelling Hamon? Sure is a shame they never tried that first :P
