I’m not even watching this series with you yet and I have no context but the title just popped up as a notification for me while I’m at work and I had to physically restrain myself from palming my face. “Sinking” feeling, classic, LOL

Curtis, this is important. The next opening doesn’t spoil anything and is actually important for the experience of watching the show. Also, after gag episodes they have special openings for those too. But anyway, if you want the full JoJo experience you should watch the op, since it does actually change with the plot in interesting ways.

All the stuff with Suzy is original stuff the anime added, which I like since this is the final battle of the season. Plus I love the contrast between the cramped submarine and the open apartment with a view.

So Curtis, when addressing Avdol's fake death, Araki stated that it was because at the time Avdol was the least favorite of the group, so Araki decided to show the fans that you don't know you loved something until it's already gone, also when bringing him back he decided to spice up his personality to make him more of a character than a cardboard cutout.
