Yep this is the horrer episode that can be taken 2 ways. 1. Its not cannon and is just a side story. Since we cant have the main characters dead. 2. They were high the whole time.

For my graduation we went out to eat at the local Japanese place, my Greek grandpa loves spicy things and can seemingly handle any food, he eats raw onions and garlic, sport peppers straight. he's like a human garbage disposal. Unfortunately, while I was in the bathroom, my grandpa ate the ball of wasabi and had a coughing/sweating fit. I would rewind my life to that point just to see it. The wasabi scene reminded me of this and gave me a good laugh.
