This is the only death that has had an impact on me in this show. My little brother is the most precious thing in my life and even though Shigechi is nothing like him I find myself relating to his parents. He mentioned them a lot after all. I guess it’s really the familial aspect of the death that gets me. It just kinda feels more real than a lot of the others.

Actually in the manga Kira told shigechi his social security number,which was the drive for him to get away and protect his mama and papa because he couldn't get the checks sent just to him

I think this Kira is more intimidating, he's very thorough And kind of badass. Araki always makes super good villans and this is a great case. Death note Kira seems too immature and thinks highly of himself while Yoshikage Kira knows his place and what he has to do to lead a quiet life.

something that's not made immediatly clear in the anime and that can create some confusion: killer queen's primary bomb explosions are invisible to non-stand user and completly silent (even to stand users) hence why Josuke just heard shigechi call his name but not the explosion. I know it's obvious in retrospect but that confused me for a bit so I thought I put it here in case ^^

For some reason, that death hit me really hard. The way he was crawling and struggling and nobody was helping him.

Those 3 girls are the true antagonists of Part 4, if not for them, Kira could have been found out right away.

To be fair, it is an anime highschool. A kid walking around bleeding in the hallways probably isn't that much cause for concern.

Araki really has a thing for killing off supporting characters, and having them leave a dramatic final message for the main character.

Yeah even if I dislike shigechi, I cant help but feel bad he was still just a child. Just shows how good Araki writes characters overall. As usual, loved your reaction!
