The way jojo did multiple personality, it's a little different from irl reported cases of multiple personalities. Irl, supposedly most people with the condition have more than 2 personalities that progressively develop as they get older. Furthermore, the personalities don't really talk to each other, but they are at least aware of the other's existence. Finally, usually the original personality disappears completely and gets overshadowed by the others. Tbh though, a lot of people think this disorder is complete bullshit lol. So, the data might be just wrong. The difference between this and irl could also be due to how Doppio was just born weird. And how the circumstances of his birth kinda make him seem truly non human or even similar to religious figures. The fandom debated a lot back in the day as to which personality was the original and which chose to kill their father and burn the whole village down. Their's a lot of evidence for either side, which get shown later.
