HOLY CRAP! WHAT A CLOSE POLL!! (Patreon)

As you guys can see, Bleach and AOT both finished at 24% in our poll! I had to download the spreadsheet to get the raw numbers. In doing that, I discovered that the final tally was AOT-165... BLEACH-161.

The narrowest of victories for the AOT fans! However, Bleach crew, do not despair!

I had something in mind from when this contest first started, but I didn't want to let on to what I was thinking prior to this because I didn't want to sway voting. I had decided that, if a shorter series won (something that we'd finish in 3 months or less) I was going to take every show that was able to garner double digit support in the poll and pit them against one another to be the next series at this level.

The logic was, if the series that won was short (AOT is only about 60 episodes, so will be done well under 3 months) then we will largely have the same basic crew here at that time, meaning that another series you guys would like would be fair.

I know that some will say that it was so close that Bleach should just be next. That's not true, though, as we have no idea how all the AOT voters would have gone if that wasn't an option. With having a huge field of 12, I think any series that could pull in double digits deserves a shot at the next spot.

Now, when this poll becomes final, I will be on vacation, but I'll be checking in and you guys can watch the poll and know what's next.
