I hope you had a good vacation anyways, now it’s time to start the REAL stuff!

Yep, Luffy can turn into a vape machine, but he’ll do all the smoking. And by smoking, he’ll do all the smoking...smoking some ass(in more ways than one) 🚬 🚬 🚬.

@Curtis, you mentioned how the episodes have been cutting away from Luffy a lot. This happens more as the series goes on. The studio making the anime tries to basically cover 1 chapter of the manga in one episode of the anime with the norm is usually to have 2 chapters in 1 episode, so as a result, they end up dragging random scenes out to fill up space. It's how the anime has kept pace with the manga for so many years, but the downside is that there is a lot of just drawn out scenes which can sometimes ruin the pacing if there's a really hype moment about to go down.

Fun fact, Lucci's least favorite fruit is Spam.

I can actually go into gear second when I vape pcp, I can also fly too

Blueno is lucky Luffy only used 2nd gear. Just imagine what would've happened if Luffy had put on some boxing's gloves and an afro.

Luffy didn't say "third", he said "gear". But I guess official subs are spoilers nowadays. Back when people first read/watched this, everyone could speculate, but I guess knowing 15 episodes in advance is okay now? :/

Miasimon

Hoo boy, you picked the wrong arc to have a vacation in! You were just getting into WHY this arc is a lot of people's favorite arc (not mine, personally, but it's top 3).

Eh, I'd say it's a pretty minor spoiler. If the sub just said "gear" then a first time watcher would still think "third gear", because... well, what happens when you're driving in second gear and want to step it up?

꧁Coltonius Maximus꧂

the animation for the fight scenes in this arc are definitely A grade, especially that introduction to gear second

It's funny cause you ended up being blue balled anyways lol

In my opinion this is where One Piece really starts to heat up!
