Typically, I'm more of a "swing for the fences" guy, but bunts brought Principal Douchebag a loss, so I'm good with it!

An alternate title to this episode would've been. "Take Me Out at the Ballgame"

Can't wait until we get to the backstories of this series

Ever considered watching the anime Major? As an Englishman I don't have really any interest in baseball, since it doesn't really exist here for the most part, but Major actually managed to get me interested at least while I watched it, despite me knowing nothing of the game I learned a decent bit about it to the point where I wouldn't go out of my way to watch a real game, but I now have a respect for the game. Other than that, it's a series with a lot of big moments and character growth. Pretty sure it is also the undisputed best baseball anime out there, though there are actually a couple of others that are really good also.

Gah it irks me that their faces literally phase through the fences.

Major is honestly amazing. But not very popular. Curtis usually chooses through voting except for one slot where he picks his own selection usually based on comments. So hopefully we can generate some hype.

Lol I noticed that and actually thought it was kind of a cool way to subtly put focus of certain characters.
