Apple of Eden was a nondescript fruit. There is a theory as to why it was called an apple. The Latin translator used the word "mālum" for the fruit which means apple and it's very close to the word "malum" which means evil. Making a clever wordplay since evil came from that fruit. Unless I'm horribly misremembering everything of course.

Well, Mikasa DID say she felt that that Titan was the "embodiment of humanity's rage". I'd say that's a pretty decent description of Eren at this point XD

This is obviously late to the game, but that was a pomegranate. Pomegranates are like a symbol for life I think. I heard somewhere that the apple of eden was actually a pomegranate, don't quote me on that though.
