The creepy demon was badass, but Tanjiro lopped off his head nicely!

Huh, so that demon was sealed the whole Meiji-period? He talked about Edo and Meiji and Tanjiro said it was Taisho now... (Btw. Edo 1600-1868, Meiji 1868-1912 (45-years), Taisho 1912-1926)

Poor Sabito and Makomo. It's kind of tragic that the masks Urokodaki gave the children he trained that were supposed to protect them ended up marking them for death. A kind of tragic irony.

not sure if it's been mentioned but urokodaki's mask with the long nose is a Tengu which is a sort of demon, the masks are meant to frighten evil spirits and bring good luck, you'll probably see Tengu or at least references to them in other anime eventually, they're giant red men with long noses and wings that wear wooden sandals. also Tanjiro's mask is most likely a kitsune, a fox.

also.... according to some side info in the manga you've been trapped again, can you guess which character lol.

I believe the Tengu was the inspiration behind the Susanoo design, which makes sense because Naruto gets a LOT of inspiration from Japanese mythology. Demon slayer also takes a lot of elements from Japanese mythology which is cool, probably because it is based in Japan after all lol

Half the fun of these videos is seeing which anime shirt is being worn today.

Man I still get goosebumps from this. Also I agree, the mask is cool. I was hoping he'd keep it
