It's definitely a change of pace. This show is honestly one of my favorite series. It manages to be both hilarious and pretty emotional

RyssaVionus

I was so excited to see this one! I considered suggesting it during the last poll, but figured it would never get any traction. (And yes! Tamaki's voiced by Vic Mignogna, who you'll see all over the place. He is Edward Elric, but you might also recognize him as the younger voice of Obito.)

WHOLESOME DEUS

This is one of my guilty pleasure anime, love it

As we found out at the end, our mc is now clearly a dudebro... And somehow still a woman

Aeco

Heard of it, but never seen it. Seems interesting :D Hope the cookie-cutter anime face design won't be a problem down the road when more characters are introduced and they run out of hairstyles though😅

This is a pretty solid show. So are a few of these kinds of shows. We should get you into some of the classics, though it is kinda strange that we went directly for this take on the traditional style (I am not saying the name of the style of show as it might be a bit spoilery for someone new to the genre)

It is a classic for good reason. It is a really solid show of the style that sorta set the mold.

Yassss Ouran High School Host Club is so good! Yes, Tamaki is the same guy who voices Edward Elric, young Obito, and Nagato. I really enjoy this show. Thank you for sponsoring, Chrome. :)

Gigamac24

Damn yall really got him watching this lmao

One of my favourite shoujo anime, it likes to poke fun at the old cliches of the genre, shoujo anime focus more on relationships and "realistic" situations typically, also I wondered if you'd realise Haruhi was a girl lol. May sponsor more of it next month, that or a different shoujo series lol, skip beat, cardcaptor sakura, sailor moon, there's a lot of... different series I can think of lol

The Gimpster 101

Apart from DBZ this is one of the first Anime I got my sisters into, btw I'm a guy and I found this quite fun to watch.

The Muddler

This anime is in my top 5, shame its a goosher 100 and not a main anime.

Yes! Thank you for recommending this, Chrome! I so wanted another reactor to watch this series. It's so good! And I'm so glad Curtis enjoyed it as well!

I mean, if i was gonna go for some of that, it would be either more host club or skip beat. Those are really standout anime.

Okay a little explanation of a what a Host actually is. You see in Japan there are these things called Host and Hostess clubs. At them attractive members of their respective sexes entertain clients. Largely by sitting, serving drinks, drinking and engaging in conversation with them. It's a somewhat seedy profession, but you could hardly call it part of the sex industry. In fact touching is usually prohibited at such establishments. Also a little story about my first encounter with this series. I stumbled onto the Manga by accident, but ended up staying because the plot proved to be kind of intriguing. At the time I was sharing a computer with my jock brother. So let's just say it was something I wasn't telling him about. Despite the fact that he was also into Manga at the time. Fast forward a few months and we've moved onto watching Anime online. My brother mentions to me that he's discovered an anime where the characters pick up chicks. It turned out to be Ouran High School Host Club. The Anime adaptation of the Manga I was afraid he'd make fun of me for reading.

Oh jeez, this was my first recommendation for my little sister years ago. I had to impress her so I can finally have a watching partner. I knew the female fandom was superb on this series, which is why I chose it. Long story short, she refuses to watch anime unless there's a cute guy in the show. Till this day, she's only seen Black Butler, Maid-sama, Vampire Knight, and this. I've created a monster! My depression aside, the show is a fun watch. It was one of my first 20 anime series I watched. Just don't let the fangirl within to erupt or I'll lose you too! :(

I have this whole anime on a complete edition dvd box set. It's freakin hilarious and Haruhi is too adorable
