🤦‍♂️ We saw Eren's dad's titan transformation in the flashback couple episodes ago, so no, that's not Grisha.

Remember that Eren's dad has brown hair Curtis.

Freddy Jimenez

Didn’t they sure what happened to his dad in Erens flashback?

Anonymous

This is not a spoiler since they already showed it but Eren's dad is dead. Eren had to eat him in order to gain the Titan shifter powers. I can understand why you would think he is Eren's dad since they have similar glasses but the beast Titan has blonde hair while Eren's dead has brown hair.

Actually, he STOPPED being Kenny the Ripper when he joined the government.

I know it's technically not a spoiler, but can't you let him discover it himself? Also, remember this is a first watch through...and a mainly daily watch whereas other people get to digest info from episodes weekly.

I love how the comments section is now completely a bunch of ["achtually" *readjusts glasses*] statements

This is my 1300th comment! Been here for 20 months so that's an average of 65 comments per month. Is that loser status yet? lol. Not a serious question, I think it just shows how much I enjoy this community.

IzzO

It shure looked like him tough, huge likeness, who might this interesting character be?

Everyone is a slave to something, and I'm a slave to Robin Crushing my greasy nuts. Please let me get the first king's abilities so I can create Robin to smash them very hard.

THE GOOSH!

Okay, I'll try and address all the concerns: As bad as my memory is, I am well aware of Dr. Yeager's hair color, as well as what we had seen prior. This person 's looks and mannerisms struck me as so close to Eren's dad that I couldn't help but speculate that in the twisted nature of things here, somehow what we had seen before turned out not to be true or a finality... Maybe it's my fault, while commenting, not to specifically address that for this to be Eren's dad, some strange shit would have had to happen for this to be him. I'll try to remember to lay things like that all out in the future. :-D

I've been wracking my brain about that and I don't know... I hope this isn't one of those "Damn! Duh!" moments for me when I find out. :-)

No problem bossman your not the only one who thought that is Eren's dad (assuming that isint the case) *wink* *wink*

And here we have why Kenny may be one of my favourite villains of all time. While he was extremely entertaining before this, the reveal of his motivation just elevates him to another level entirely. He's essentially a piece of shit who's fully aware he's a piece of shit and wants to find a way to not be a piece of shit. And I don't mean in a "I need to change my ways" sense, but rather "I genuinely want to know what it feels like to be able to feel compassion" sense.

Redemption

Blonde guy does look familiar tho.

Thinking the Beast titan was Eren's dad was my confusion for the longest time as well, honestly a lot of things about AoT confused me on the first watch. This series can be a mindfuck at the best of times

I know Kenny's story was amazing and everything, but the highlight of this episode is definitely Historia punching Levi. That shit was fucking hilarious.

Anime Wulf

Levi has a 2 episode OVA called something like "Attack on Titan: No Regrets; Shingeki no Kyojin: Birth of Levi" it goes into his backstory in the underground as well as how he met Erwin and survived how he did. Now that you've fully seen Kenny's backstory, you can watch this at anytime.

Id love to see a spinoff show based in the underground. someone born there whose never seen the sun and whose trying to work there way up to be able to live on the surface only to find out its full of man eating titans.

Anciient

Kenny's time in the show is so brief, but he's such a great character in such a short amount of time.
