This is probably explained later in the series and I don't want any spoilers from those who have seen the show, but I have to ask (or make comment about it) How did they hide all those normal titans? Was it the Sasquatch's ability? I can't think any other possible explanation for it right now

As an Anime only view it is never explicitly stated that I'm aware, but I believe you are meant to infer that it is the Beast Titan's ability.

If it helps since the first time Eren controlled the Titans he hasn't been able to replicate it since

Curtis get ready for this crazy battle! You wanted Steroid Sasquatch well you got him now. This battle is so phenomenal, I remember reading this in the manga each month and just enduring the mind fucking with full acceptance. When these episodes came out almost a year ago, I didn’t watch them until they were all fully released together because I know I couldn’t have contain myself to wait each week for these episodes. It’s that good, I can’t wait to see your reactions especially for episodes 54-59. You’re about to witness Hunter x Hunter like mind fuckery in this arc

Tyler

It is not possible to be prepared for this fight which is about to transpire.
