Not only is his swordsmanship apparently intense, but I really like his singing, as well!

If you remember back to our favorite cross dresser,Mr.2 Bon Clay the beast. Nami took the strange pronunciation of "give me a break" from him. His presence has truly impacted not only the fans but the crew itself. What a legend.

Also for the Erosalom thing "Ero" kinda means perv in Japanese. Normally the main contracted subs do a good job of translating puns into English (something like Pervsalom would probably make more sense) but for some reason they didn't do it here. You usually see japanese and English mixed together in fan subs so it kinda caught me off guard.

GoldArthur

I actually prefer the English version of Brook's song.

one of my favorite moments is this whole exchange at the end the song, the attack, brooks whole dimeaner and the technique brook just used is the same one his zombie used to take out nami usopp and chopper in hogbacks lab

Mighty Snake

I can't lie I was too distracted by tied up robin, I would not have put up a fight.

Omar Cordova

Reminder that what brook did, and the move for what he did, the notch slash, is the exact same thing and name we saw from the samurai with his essence when he attacked Nami, Ussop and Chopper.

*Franky takes up his steel spikes* Curtis: "Those are some impressive nunchhucks" Me: "They are about to be more impressive.." *Franky reappears with the makeshift pillar-nunchaku* Curtis: "Damn... that's a pretty impressive pair of nunchucks then." Me: "I expected better reaction! Give back my expectations"

Preet

BINKS SAKE!

Schmul Sjifris

Brook used the same move Samurai Zombie did.

CrossZ

I remember seeing Brook's attack on youtube YEARS ago. It was what made me decide I had to catch up on One Piece.

Omae wa mou shinderu!!

Jcw490

Bink’s Sake 😭🥺😭🥺

DarkRaven

Yes! Brooke singing is so much fun to listen too, sometimes I feel the urge to sing too.

I love that scene with Brook. It's one of my favorite in the whole series.

Ali6B

I love the "sliced him so quick I have time to sheath my sword" attacks

It’s ok but I can’t agree lol. The Japanese is phenomenal. Especially the later rendition in this arc

SilversLyfe

I actually learned the entire japanese to this song lol. Perfect pronunciation and all. It’s too good

Miasimon

Reminder that Brooke DID say that he's a musician, back when the Straw Hats first met him. Turns out he's a pretty damn good one. Also, those subtitles are usually good but for some reason when it translates "booze", it kind of irks me. You can clearly hear "sake" and sake is the actual name of the drink. No translation needed.

Emil Johansson

The scene with brook singing in this episode is one of my favortie scene of all of One Piece, i actually even like the dub version of this scene
