Akettaja The Finnish Moron

I wonder what if feels like to be born into a family that has a sort of symbiosis with the slayers... considering how long the corps has been a thing that old lady is probably just like that... being raised with the knowledge that demons really exist must be somewhat uncomfortable, especially since not that many others know. Maybe the Wisteria family isn’t even allowed to mingle with outsiders much. I have no clue if they ever explore this but it’s one of those small details that really makes me curious.

I do actually somewhat enjoy Zenitsu and Inosuke now, but it was hellish to wait for a week and get an episode of them being annoying and drawing the focus away from the important shit.

I like how Inosuke is constantly breaking Japanese rules because he grew up in the mountains, for example he didn't bow down to thank the old lady, he didn't respect the seniority of the other demon slayer and he is constantly speaking really loud. I also don't find the writing bad in this show (except the characters who are pretty one-dimensional for now) but Tanjiro saying "if you have a power that can locate her, now would be a good time" always makes me laugh, it's a pretty random thing to ask and there's a really slim chance that the answer is "oh yeah, I actually do have that power". Imo a better way to have this happen would have been to have Tanjiro try to locate the puppeteer with his scent, and Inosuke (who's always trying to prove he is better than Tanjiro) use his spatial awareness to locate her faster in order to boast about it.

I can understand that... It once again points out to me how fortunate I am to be able to watch these series on a daily basis, rather than a weekly one! :-)

I love the derp face that the boar head gives Inosuke every time human conventions give him pause.

Shinobu: "If only humans and demons could get along." Me: "Well..." Tomioka: "Impossible, as long as demons eat humans." Me: "..." When they first show the spidermaster's back I was like "Is that young or old, and male or female" Then they show the face (and cleavage); "Nice!" Then the boy talks about mother; "Meh, could be worse"

5 does seem to fit with 1 demon per worthwhile demon slayer after the 2 slayers from hq arrive. Though they could also go for all demons being slain by that time or leaving a big one for that time.

Guessing it’ll be an all out fight of Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and the two Hashira’s that are on their way vs. the 5 demons. But that maybe too obvious. It also just occurred to me how small they make this world feel. Maybe it’s because I’m used to OP, but; they walk everywhere at a casual pace, the Slayer Corps headquarters is able to relay orders quickly from their location, we’ve already established the final Big Bad and his direct underlings(who tanjiro is already going up against) and now we’re meeting the elite slayers only moments after meeting 2 of the main two characters. I guess this is probably a relatively short story. Is the manga finished?

well you need to remember the setting is japan, it's a relatively small island nation, if you had the endurance you could probably walk through most of the island in a week, plus these characters have superhuman stamina. also the manga's still ongoing but I've heard it may be in the final arc, though given how explosive its popularity is I could see shonen jump continuing it

Spider family is prepared for a full on assault. Zenitsu is running dick first into enemy territory
