Goddamn, what a phenomenal story! I loved the characters, the music, the ending; EVERYTHING!... My wife enjoyed it, as well.

This is definitely one that leaves you basking in the glow for awhile! 😊😊

That message she leaves and the photo along with it always breaks me.

Yeah it really does! That last episode was really hard for me to watch, but it’s such a satisfying story. So powerful too, I think what you said about basking in the afterfeels really hits the nail on the head. For me when I first watched I was a lot younger and I just could not believe they wouldn’t get to play together again. This show had such a great way of expressing the characters feelings visually too, like you said it’s not one of those anime that gets lots of hype but if I had to point to 5 anime to prove that anime is art I definitely think this one would be on that list

I'm so glad you guys' enjoyed it! When I first watched it a few years ago, especially being a huge fan of classical music, I bought two wall scrolls shortly after. I still torture myself from time to time, lol.

I watched it and enjoyed it but the ending just made me feel like i wasted time watching this, it was too sad. Lol

Glad you liked it. Such a good show and damn the feels

Your lie in April? More like your cries in April. 😭😭

Adam Stinnett

did you lose it like i did? It was so sad. There is a live action movie at kissasian.sh which was good but it was very similar to the show.

THE GOOSH!

Those images of Kaori playing the "air violin" are forever seared into my brain! :-)

You think you're gonna be able to get your wife into anime after this?!
