Mighty Snake

Apparently Clark Kent was a very apt nickname because they pretended to kill him off only to bring him back with a big reveal for plot reasons

grimmjow

Curtis let be introduce you to one of the greatest anime villain SOSUKE MOTHERFUCKIN AIZEN-SAMA

astherphoenixxx96

clark kent had another persona under the superman suit, so it seems

Daniel Turner

Curtis six sense kicked in when he named Aizen Clark Kent cause he has a secret identity

Dallas Winston

As the wise Count Dookie once said “ I’ve been looking forward to this”

Anonymous

To answer your question earlier as to when the other shoe will fall....it fell, caught on fire, froze over and the wind carried the ashes away

PKKite

The reason Raigiku was seeing Gin was Gin was the one we saw save her from starvation in a flashback and now we see likely took care of her. So she is wondering what he is doing with all this since before being soul reapers she knew him best. Also so now we have at least 3 traitorous captain out of 13.

Anonymous

I don't see him as a piece of shit, I mean he is, but I like him a lot. Such a intelligent badass.

Dallas Winston

Aizen is like one of the biggest pieces of shit that you can’t help but like because he’s such a good villain

Mr.Host

I really enjoy Aizen's dialouge and demeanour. It's a good mix of cold and calculating with just the right amount of smug.

ispeckz--

Momo: "Captain Aizen ❤" Aizen: 🗡😀

Kevin Kovacs

Oh curtis.. you have no idea what is coming in the further with Aizen 😅🤣🤣 this is just the beginning..

Jørgen Vellesen

"Admiration is the state furthest from understanding." That is such a interesting quote, it's definitely one of my favorites. This twist is fantastic, so well done. Get ready Curtis, Aizen is one hell of a villain!

Chris Johnson

Oh boy...Let's just say that Aizen is the Madara of Bleach in terms of popularity and you'll soon see why.

Kakashi
>>36502770

But unlike Madara, Aizen didn't get shafted. (TTYBW not withstanding)

Your Mom

What Aizen did to Momo specifically was so messed up, and your seething reaction to it was great.

Izanagi

Clark Kent truly as transformed into his Superman Alter ego now.... he even ditched the glasses and gelled his hair back :,D

Moe

I've been waiting for Clark Kent to hop in the phone booth an transform into Josh Groban.

Gigamac24

I love Clark Kent's style of villan. I cannot hate him as much as I try to

Chrome

and it's finally happened, Aizen's shown his true colours, he's honestly one of the greatest villains in anime, calm, cool, and always in control of the situation, he's such a fun monster to watch work

Lachlan Ferrand

Where's the god damn kryptonitw when you need it

Miasimon

You know, I've never been too much of a fan of Superman. Good to see that I'm not too much of a fan of Clark Kent, either.

Thomastheterminator

It was so damn hard for me not to say anything when you first nicknamed him Clark Kent

Thomastheterminator

Aizen’s true demeanor is best summed up by the quote “It’s only arrogance if you can’t back it up.”

CrossZ

The Aizen twist is so well done because it makes sense when you think about it. Like, who forged that letter implicating Toshiro in Aizen's handwriting? No one he did it himself.

Anonymous

Ah yes! The return of Josh Groban

Mr. Miles

Ah, we can finally stop pretending like Aizen is a good guy. And throughout this series, nobody here spoiled it for you. Good job everyone :)

PKKite

Josh Groban was evil all along. I KNEW IT.

WhateverIFeelLike

I’ve been waiting for Curtis’s reaction to this episode, knowing that hypnosis plays such a big role in the series I was excited to see what he would think

The Gimpster 101

It is in this episode that Clark Kent shows his true love and gratitude for his subordinates, he truly is a great, loving and caring Captain for the Soul Reapers. We are unworthy for his amount of good will.

Kakashi
>>36516750

I can no longer look at this quote without thinking of Don Corneo

Cetacean Needed

As so many have already said what a piece of shit yet awesome villain Aizen is, I'll just echo their sentiments. Aside from that, now that his true role in the series is somewhat more clear it's as good a time as any to mention his VA. Kyle Hebert also plays some characters you may remember, such as Gohan in DBZ, multiple characters in Yu Yu Hakusho, Vato Falman in Fullmetal Alchemist (2003 and Brotherhood), multiple characters including Kiba in Naruto, Ganju and Kaien Shiba in Bleach in addition to Aizen, Nefeltari Cobra (Vivi's father) in One Piece, Kamina in Gurren Lagann, Noriaki Kakyoin in Jojo, Atomic Samurai (etc) in One Punch Man, Fat Gum in My Hero Academia, and Kanamori in Demon Slayer. (incidentally, I didn't know he was also from Lake Charles until I looked him up for this list. I'm probably related to him to some extent, given that we share the name and are from the same city. How far separated, i dunno. Also, it's pronounced A-bear because of course it would have French pronunciation.)

I personally guess that it was meant to hold back Hitsugaya and that his mention of the idea of cutting her up was more to make Hitsugaya angry to make it easier to defeat Hitsugaya. If Lil whitey had just been a bit later he would have been caught up in staying by her side, therefore effectively being taken out of the fight without Aizen having to spend time on Lil whitey.

Daniel Gonzalez

So I think the sub is a little more messed up here if I'm recalling right I think aizen said something along the lines of us never saw anyone as his lieutenant other than Gin he didn't even respect momo at all basically also I just thought since he was gins captain he probably taught him that shit eating grin of his

Thomastheterminator

I could be wrong but were you trying to say at the end there was that Aizen(Clark Kent) didn’t feel nearly as genuine compared to the others like Kenpachi(Spike)?

Sean Nelson

ah now so many people can talk about Aizen without spoilers lol Yeah he wasn't the Captain that got killed offscreen for mystery sake since you've seen the next episode by now I can say nope he is the Endgame boss lol This entire arc in reality is just the intro to the main boss. You get introduced to the major players and get to power scale them. you get hyped up with the main character as he shoots towards the top and then boom. you get to see who is sitting on top with his boot firmly on the scale making things seem balanced against him till he is seen. then he lifts his foot and the scale falls from under you lol

Anonymous

You thought he was Clark Kent but he was actually Light Yagomi
