White Lightning

While he’s definitely antagonistic because he’s opposing Luffy I love how Magellan isn’t really evil. He’s just a guy trying to do his job he was tasked with to the best of his ability, enough so that he even thought about the future Impel Down and genuinely considered Hannyabal a competent member of the Impel Down staff

GoldArthur

I don't know if you remember, but, because of his ability, pain is twice as painful to Blackbeard as the normal person.

Miklar Sihn

If Blackbeard says there is a "ze" in "Hahaha" then there is.

James L

I love Blackbeard, he's so obnoxious and brutal in his actions and words.

Schmul Sjifris

Magellan: A badass in more ways than one. Since his ass is bad and he has too crap a lot. And because he can do shit like this.

Miklar Sihn

I cant help loving Blackbeard. He might be willing to break peoples dreams when they go against him, but he is supportive of dreams at all other times. He is just too like Luffy and i love it.

DevilJynx

Yeah, you can say the last 400 episodes are about to be brought together throughout the remainder of this arc and over the next one. A total clash of Pirate Titans. Speaking of Titans, excited for The Final Season of Attack On Titan?

Schmul Sjifris

Luffy tried to fight this guy one on one xD We have Jinbei, Crocodile and Ivankov there now and they're RUNNING instead of trying to fight him. That says volumes.

Vincent

You asked what might be left as a challenge to Luffy after the dust settles in the war, well that's exactly what you'll see when it happens, that the world of One Piece is huge and full of monsters.

꧁Coltonius Maximus꧂

I fucking love Jinbei. Hes one of the very few people who manages to rein in Luffy and make him listen to reason.

THE GOOSH!

It's funny you mention that, as I express a similar sentiment in an upcoming episode. I respect him, he just REALLY pissed me of when he took out my boy, Ivan! :-)

The Abyssal Drink

Notice the whole Awakened Devil Fruit thing? Yeah, expect more of that at some point, but (and this is Null Hypothesis as in if it is not yet confirmed it isn't) still don't understand how it fully works for Zoans. I want to see Chopper awakened so badly, but with no info on the demon guards it's too hard to tell. One day Oda. One day.

Tyler

Magellan bumrushed the fuck out of Blackbeard. And while he is nowhere near the top in terms of strength, he really does have the perfect ability for managing the close quarters of Impel Down.

Luffy truly had zero chance of beating him at this point in the story.

Fenix7700

Curtis, you noticed how it appeared that Blackbeard couldn't take a single punch from Luffy without keeling over in pain, that is because of Blackbeards Fruit, while it's definitely one of the most powerful fruits out there, it has a side effect of greatly diminishing his pain tolerance.

astherphoenixxx96

Blackbeard : are you magelan Magelan: you're blackbeard, I suppose Blackbeard: indeed Magellan: H Y D O R A

SuperiorSpiderBoy

Magellan is a fucking GANGSTER bro! He just walked right up on Black Beard, said "I don't have time for this" and fucked them right to hell.

Jcw490

Jinbei is such a bro

hence why he is my favourite villain. so boss, no fucking around, just does what has to be done.

Miasimon

Just a quick reminder about Blackbeard: His devil fruit ability makes him insanely vulnerable to pain. What might feel like a slap in the face to a normal person could feel like a haymaker to Blackbeard. But just because he FEELS the pain at such a higher level, doesn't mean he can be taken out easier... quite the contrary, he's got more endurance than just about everyone you've seen in One Piece, combined.

my dude said "there is no Z in hahaha blackbeard" and it caused me to choke on a pickle i was eating lol
