In terms of power even now fully up to date I still think Hawkeye is in the top 10 strongest maybe top 6 or 7. My man is not to be crossed. That said he cannot touch the great Buggy D clown

Mihawk attacking Whitebeard with something so casual he didn’t even name his attack, something that almost every character in One Piece feels obligated to do. It’s almost impossible not to respect Mihawk for being able to become undoubtedly recognized as the world’s strongest swordsman in a world full of people with some insanely powerful or weird devil fruit powers on top of them having access to regular weapons like anyone else.

Oh so in the episode they said that mihawk has one of the 12 greatest made blades in the world. This is never stated in the anime but that blade whitebeard uses is also one of the 12 strongest blades

It is worth noting, as was atleast suggested in this episode, that Whitebeard could have destroyed Marineford at any time during the last many years. Marineford stands because he had no reason to destroy it before and destroying it now would kill Ace. But if he wants to get rid of an island he can.

Mihawk's weapon is named Yoru or 'Night' as it was translated, what it also means I can't believe you remember Doflamingo's name, we have seen him like twice before.. Some names just stick huh?

ICE AGE! It should be noted that the Straw Hats are incredibly lucky that out of all the admirals it was Aokiji they ran into before Water 7. Akainu would have murdered them without hesitation.

Just a quick reminder that I really want you to keep in mind for this whole arc: Whitebeard is a "fragile", sick, old man who's almost always hooked up to some machines and is on oxygen. Now as the arc goes on, imagine him in his prime.
