While he didn't challenge him to a fight, he clearly challenged his goals... Good call!  :-D

Yeah it's pretty hard to dislike the stoner admiral kizaru

Oh curtis how saucy you are

GoldArthur

I think that's how everyone feels about Kizaru. You want him to lose, but he's just so likable. Also, I have a theory, that Mihawk is Whitebeards biological son. It's based only on two things, too. 1) Eyes: From what I can tell, Mihawk and Whitebeard are the only ones to have those eyes - yellow, with the additional circle in the middle. You can't always tell, because WB's eyes are more faded now, but, sometimes, like in this episode, they show it a lot more clearly. 2) The fact that Mihawk showed particular interest in challenging WB at the start of the war, when he rarely shows interest in anything besides sword fights.

It's amazing to me how much I like him, and I can't even put my finger on exactly why. :-D

Bee

LOL @Curtis' comment on Akainu ''fuck this guy'' so it begins.

Jonathan

I think Shanks gave up his arm because he wanted to instill a sense of guilt within luffy along with the strawhat. To give him a super strong motivator alongside his goal of becoming King.

Miklar Sihn

You gotta love Luffy getting accepted by his second major player.

White Lightning

The Navy REALLY lucked out that the guy with highly destructive lasers and light speed attacks isn’t a pirate. I wouldn’t be surprised if Kizaru gets the most leeway just off the idea of having that as a potential threat to deal with if Kizaru ever got pissed with the Navy. Because with that speed catching Kizaru in sea prism or pushing him in water just isn’t gonna happen.

Mighty Snake

Now that you're this far into marineford I think you can agree that it's a good thing the straw hats were separated since none of the others would have stood a chance. The only one who might have would be Zoro if he wasn't so banged up. Also, shout out to Garp who might be one of the most unsuccessful parents ever considering every person he has taken care of has switched sides.

Lets not forget Robin, she would be the single member that could do most for the battle. She could get rid of pretty much all the small fry, keeping the important combatants fresh for longer on the pirate side.

Brother E

Whitebeard should be called Whitestache instead because he doesn’t have nor ever had a beard on his face. I’m susceptible to question if he could even grow that facial hair.

He is clearly badass enough that if he calls his stache a beard then it is a beard.

A.W

Can anyone tell me who that character is on Curtis' shirt? It looks super cool XD

It's a minimalist version of Ed from Cowboy Bebop

Admiral Kizaru reminds me of Jeff Goldblum for some reason lol

Miasimon

I love how Ivan had the same reaction as I did when I first watched this arc: "Shut the fuck up, Luffy! He's going to tambourine you!" I'm not sure if that was Luffy's hardheadedness (rubber-headedness?) or if that was his famous stupidity showing.

Yep and many more to come. Are we gonna bet if he surpasses Arlong's 400+ episode streak?

DevilJynx

Whitebeard: Kid you're gonna die. Luffy: I do what I want! I'm gonna be king of the pirates! Everyone: O_O O_O O_O O_O O_O O_O O_O O_O O_O Whitebeard: *Smiles* You're a cheeky little dickwaffle aren't you. Luffy meeting Whitebeard is one of the most epic moments of One Piece.

haha, I'm gonna have to use the "pancaking" verb a lot more from now on.

At the same rate, the pirates lucked out that he is stoned all the time. If he was Akainu levels of serious...
