It was a really cool moment, seeing the ashes obliterated... But I'm not sure how older bro is gonna feel about all this!

Old bro is in America playing ball with a new Girlfriend. I dont think he cares about anything going on at home and forgot her. Mamimi is in her last year of highschool, is poor and strange so she gets bullied, and her only connection is her ex's kid bro in middle school that she gets close to and only calls him his older brothers name. To say the least its not a healthy relationship.

Glad you’re enjoying the show. I also glad you caught the great music. But yet at how bizarre the show is it’s also extremely intelligent. You can be 18 or 80 and still relate to the show. For a show that was only six episodes long “Originally” it’s one of the best anime ever. Over 20 years old and still going strong

What a quirky trip. I don't remember the story, but I remember this being on Adult Swim and playing in the background when I had sleepovers. The art and OST are so good - so 2000s. I think the girl with the red hair was the firestarter. She has that FireStarter game the show talked about, gets bullied, worships the robot... just my guess. Bitches be crazy! I think the show's base theme eventually has a lot to do with growing up. I imagine the the horns growing out of the kid (Takun?, I'm terrible with names) are phallic for a reason. It always grows into a fucking robot when there's some sexual tension in a scene. Character here look like they approach growing up differently... some try too hard when they're kids. Some act like kids to avoid it. Needless to say, kinda loving this G100. The songs give me Japanese Beetle-esque vibes. The art on the character's expressions is so over the top but clean. And the english voice acting actually isn't cringe either! Can't wait to watch the rest of this with the gang.

I LOVE the FLCL soundtrack! "I think I can" and "LITTLE BUSTERS" are absolute musts for me whenever I'm working out.

FLCL has one of, if not the best OSTs in anime. The pillows is an incredible band and I have so much appreciation for them for starting the trend of Japanese rock bands doing US tours

A great anime no matter what, but from my experience, it has a much, much bigger impact on you the closer you are to your early to mid teens. Shouldn’t make much difference to Curtis though. He’s a horny teen in spirit after all

Glad you liked my choice. And yeah it’s one of the few late 90s early 2000 dubs that didn’t suck. And in case you didn’t know it It actually got two more seasons that were exclusively made for adult swim and actually came out in English first and Japanese later. When this is done on the goosh, You should check out the sequels. I’m only sponsoring until the end of the original FLCL So the last episode will be six

Y'know, I NEVER made the connection to the explosion clearing the ashes and therefore the memories tied to that place . . . damn I clearly just don't think deep enough :P
