So you know rayleigh is gonna be gone for over a year. What do you do Curtis?

Brother E

Wow...we finally made it. We've officially reached the halfway point to this incredible journey. All the way back from watching clips on live streams to this moment. What a milestone. NOW...this is where the story begins to get more serious. First half was the LONG introductory into the lore, the 2nd half is where the story begins to build. The story plots are BETTER The villains are BADDER And most importantly the boobies are BIGGER!! Welcome To The New World!

Man I'm so HYPED for part two greatness. Curtis you're probably gonna absolutely love the next several arcs.

GoldArthur

Curtis, you really ought to watch the 14th opening. It was a special one that they only played for a short time in the anime, and it was intended to cap off the first half of the series.

The Abyssal Drink

Just the mention of Ace and Sabo hit me... DAMN YOU ODA!

Yea I second this, usually we’ve had discussions about which One Piece opening was Curtis’ favorite before he started the series. He always stated that Opening 4, Bon Voyage was his favorite out of all of them. So to see him react to Openings 1-14, would be interesting at this point, now that he’s got knowledge of the story and the characters.

V_VMat

The Strawhats were heading to Fishman Island right after Water 7... And that was forever ago Did you notice the end card wasn't "To be continued" but instead "Go to New World"?

Mikestrike

The rest of this week's episodes are gonna be great 😂

Peruaner

Will you react to the OP Openings?

Gazille

Now that we've reached this point in the anime a Opening 1-14 reaction video would be awesome to see from you Curtis! :D

Mighty Snake

Damn Curtis, I can't believe you're taking a 2-year break from one piece, I thought the wait would kill most people but it just goes to show how dedicated you are to the bit.

Wishmaker007

I consider this episode to be the halfway point in One Piece even if it’s not official or accurate due to all the factors of a new journey being set up by all the Straw Hats preparing again for a much harsher journey as well as the ending credits. Time to go to the New World! :D

astherphoenixxx96

btw Curtis, have you watched the opening for this bit? it's quite touching and a good way to end the season

Luffy leaving his Straw Hat gets me every time, see you in 2 years Curtis

CrossZ

I love how haki is a part of the world that we've seen even before Luffy learns what it is. It's not just a convenient power up for our main character but something people have been using around and even against him for a few arcs now.

Chapter 1 / Episode 4 had Conqueror's Haki, Sky Island had Observation Haki, and the first (obvious) use of Armament Haki was Garp hitting Luffy after Water 7. xD Haki was also mentioned by name before Sky Island, when Blackbeard met Luffy. Guess it depends on how you define "a few" ;)

Aeco

I just noticed the description of Rusukaina island in this episode: A "desert island". Guess someone didn't know the difference between deserted island and desert island xD

michael Worley

I just realized that in :| only :| 1.5 years given current speed and if he hit all filler, Curtis would be caught up with one piece and have to wait a week to see a new episode maybe I’ll do a countdown till he is all caught up o.0

Christian Brucken

I can't wait till you see the evolution of the crew. Welcome to the 2nd half.

conquerors haki is natures way of telling the cannon fodder to know their place

Curtis!! I think it would be a good idea to do a reaction video to the OP openings that are safe to watch up until this point which are up to opening 15 if im not mistaken, hope you consider it

Jake from SF

I remember being surprisingly shocked when the "to be continued" sign at the end didn't show up and instead it said, "Go to New World". I was half expecting there to be a seperate series called One Piece: New World.

And thus ended the longest damn side trip from their main destination XD

Did you take new episodes coming out into that calculation? There was a guy who at start was making count how many episodes were left, but he stopped like a year ago..

LordKirit

will you react to the movie's too at some point?

I believe he has said that he saves anime movies to watch with his wife or in his free time, and wouldn’t want to watch them in twenty minute sections for Patreon, if someone else that has remembered his reasoning more precisely please correct me, but I don’t believe he will be doing the movies anytime soon

Christian Brucken

I know you usually don't watch the openings but when the time skip comes up it shows the new looks of the crew and its one of the best of the openings. Would you watch it?. If not it's fine but would be fun to watch the reaction.

THE GOOSH!

Openings, endings or anything with a self-contained musical arrangement are very difficult from a Fair Use perspective.
