Seeing our Straw Hats finding one another is SO cool! And Luffy's effortless Haki was pure awesomeness!

Imagine almost making it to the New World only to be stopped because a Directionally challenged Swordsman trained by Mihawk decided to take a nap on your boat

.... battery low. I love these episodes. the fake hats want to be noticed so much but none of the strawhats take them seriously at all

I think I look more like Luffy than that guy. Hell I look more like nami then that girl and I don't even have boobs or long hair lol.

Even if the real strawhats were not here these guys clearly didn't think much of this plan through

White Lightning

Way back at the Sea Restaurant Baratie where Sanji is from Zeff the owner said that the grand line is a place where you could get crushed just by interrupting someone’s nap. Sucks to be that one guy one that pirate ship who is like “Hey captain, who’s that guy sleeping on our ship?”

I mean, wasn't that also demonstrated that arc? Because it's basically what happened to Kreig, waking up Mihawk like that.

Mikestrike

The way Zoro cut that gallion is the exact same as what Hawkeye did to Kreig's ship when he was first introduced.

CrossZ

Zoro sure learned a lot from Mihawk during the time skip. But not even he could teach Zoro how to follow simple directions.

Lewd Angel

"Im sure we'll hear about Zoro's scar" Ahem, yeah about that...

Roughly 587 days till Curtis is caught up

Kamui

Curtis you were wrong. We didn't used to wait 1 week. We waited 4 weeks because Oda took a break back then when the time skip was starting. Manga people know what I mean ;)

DevilJynx

Luffy used the GTS(Go To Sleep). It was super effective!

Jake from SF

As others have said, between the last chapter before the timeskip and the first chapter after the timeskip Oda wanted to take a 3 week vacation. His editor told him he could have 4 weeks but when he gets back the first several pages have to be in color. So, he took a 4 week vacation to Hawaii with his wife and daughter. I, luckily, caught up with the manga like 2 chapters after the timeskip so I didn't have to deal with that 4 week hiatus. However, due to the rony-rona, instead of waiting 1 week for a chapter we've mainly had to wait 2 weeks between chapters. Normally, his schedule averages 3-5 weeks straight with a new chapter and then a week break. So, he does about 40 chapters a year. Which 10 chapters make up a volume, therefore, making 4 volumes worth of manga per year. The anime on the other hand usually has about 50-52 episodes a year. It's pretty rare for them to go on a break, and this is the main reason for the filler episodes and the filler scenes in canon episodes.

Miasimon

Ah yes, Luffy has mastered the "Fuck Off Trash" ability. Also I have to wonder something... where the hell did "Robin" get that cucumber from? If it came from where I think it came from, is it technically a pickle?

It seems that manga artists are either insanely motivated people or just simply insane! 😄
