I am FASCINATED by the setup in this anime! I love the whole "delusions of youth" concept and the great characters!

This was actually one of the shows I was debating on having you watch For my pick. I’m glad someone else got it

as much as i love the dub to death especially for rikka, yuta, and dekomori this will still be great

Ahhh Chuunibyou, one of my favorits in the RomCom genre Great pick Elaine and Bagnurtea :D

Phillip Ribbink

Rikka is a Chuunibyou much like some other characters we've had on the GOOSH. Namely Okarin from Stein's Gate and Megumin from Konosuba. Chuunibyou stereotypically is portrayed as striking poses and being overly dramatic. For example when Megumin casts explosion magic all she has to do is shout "Explosion!" However she instead overdramatizes it and shouts long, complex incantations. Whereas Okarin is constantly referring to an organization, much like Rikka's bureau. Also for some reason Anime loves using German to name attacks when they're not using Japanese. Hence some of the weirder names of attacks that Rikka comes up with.

I forgot how good the animation is for her delusions, I love this show... Honestly though, any show that hits me hard in the feels winds up on my list....
