Um, Curtis, you're not supposed to twist ticks when removing them, that is actually one of the worst things you can do. It may lead to the mouth breaking off or the tick's guts getting expelled, and if it carries a disease, that's in your pet now. Get one of those tick removing cards or special tweezers. Human hands are also not a good idea to use, since you're likely to pinch the tick which has the same ugly result as twisting it does. It may also lead to other infections. Just in case you didn't know and want to administer to your pets in the future. 👍
