Oh yikes hopefully you skip s3 lmao

Dallas Winston

Omg Tokyo ghoul!!! Curtis I have such a love hate relationship with this Anime. I own the entire manga and your going to here this a lot but season 1 is actually pretty good but the rest of the show has a very poor Adaptation “STORY WISE”. Season 2 is decent from an anime only perspective. That being said I love the characters and it’s a very cool world and my favorite manga of all time. I’m trying not to say too much because I don’t want to turn you off from it but after season 1 it is easily one of the worst adaptations of all time. Regardless I hope you it enjoy it for what it is. Drunk Jew out

Chrome

Oh wow lol, this is gonna be a mess to explain lol, the anime is a bit of a mess.

stuart matthew stokes

While I enjoy S1 to an extent since its responsible for me checking out the Manga,S2 is possibly the worst adaptation of a Manga I've ever seen, and I've heard S3 is just as bad

THE GOOSH!

Hmm... Let me know what you guys think on this: Do you want a poll to ask if we should just do one season?

SuperiorSpiderBoy

Yo we're starting Tokyo Ghoul? I had no idea. Best first season of an anime I've ever seen in my opinion. Maybe I'll actually have to watch season 2 if you go that far!

MOB12

I didnt mind S2 from an anime only perspective however i never even bothered with S3 cause i heard it was bad for anime onlys and manga readers

Dallas Winston

So to explain quickly without spoilers season 2 takes certain parts/ fights from the manga but puts them out of context and skips major plot points And then Changing the end all together Season 3 part 1 picks up with The sequel (part 2) of the Tokyo ghoul manga Re: confusing evey anime only cause the ending of season 2 is not cannon And part 2 of season 3 is a clip show Adapting over 100 chapters in 12 episode So.. yeah

If you read the manga the first 12 episodes of season 3 is watchable I’d say even enjoyable, not to far off but the second half is far worse of an adaptation than season 2(which isn’t even cannon) because it’s literally a slide show, they skip story, rush through fights and have bland animation. For a show that’s all about characters and story is just a complete Disgrace

Aidan

Hmm I have mixed feelings about this one but hey give it a shot lad

MWS

just thought id let you know, How not to summon a demon lord is getting a season 2, once it airs im sure people will let u know in case you want to pick it up again

MWS

u know youre an anime fan when you instantly know its pronounce Hi-de instead of hide🤣

Lewd Angel

Yeah i've got very mixed feelings about this anime. The manga was pretty good, despite its sometime clusterfuck-like artstyle, but the anime was...a mess to put it lightly. Season 1 is good and canon, S2 was an anime-original instead of an adaptation with only bits and pieces of the original canon, then S3 continued off as if S2 was completely faithful to the manga, leaving the watchers forced into either reading to manga to properly understand what the hell was going on or be completely confused. I'd be totally fine just watching season 1 and continuing on with something else (Hint hint, Season 3 of Castlevania or Soul Eater nudge nudge)

Wait he hasnt gotten caught up with Castlevania? 😮 omg id love to see S2 and S3 reactions from him. *edit* looks like hes already reacted through S2, even tho it was a goosher 100 request I think S3 would still be a perfect one for this slot after

Dallas Winston

At least we got one of the best opening songs of all time that only might be the highlight of the Anime 😂

Sorry, i meant Season 3, i still get confused by the fact that the first arc is split up into two seasons

Eric Quan

MC has the same VA as tanjiro and rize has same VA as mayuri(tuturu girl)

Aidan

You had worse dates than what kaneki went through right now? Jesus lad what kind of women did you date before you got married?

Dallas Winston

And yes I said this was my favorite manga of all time but that’s just my personal/ Nostalgic point of view of manga, that being said I think one piece Superior. And Naruto Will always share a special place in my heart

Watso

Damn, I wanted to watch this but I can’t do subs well. I watch at work and I can’t pay attention well. Especially very story heavy. I’m glad you watched this though. Loved the first season.

Miasimon

Could you imagine if he ate the burger and actually still liked it? That would mean they'd have some.. "questionable" meat at that burger place.
