All I can figure is maybe Dr. Tenma is about to rescue a young man who really shouldn't be saved!

Awesome! Wanted you to watch this so bad lol.

AceOfSerberit

I really should watch this series at some point

WHOLESOME DEUS

Never seen this, should be interesting 🧐

Enzonator

This is a nice surprise! Pretty excited about this. Out of curiosity, what were the other options for this tier?

J Johnson

Oh damn, this is a classic, although it was rough to watch. Going to be some great reactions coming up.

The show overall isnt my style but man... The villain is out of this world. The writing is insanely good. It is one of the few animes where I can ignore the old artstyle. Sadly I couldnt do it for YuYu Hakusho... Id really like to love the anime but I cant watch it due to its old quality

THE GOOSH!

I don't like to give away too much, as I don't want to ruin potential surprises for the next vids, but it was largely series that had done well in the most recent nominations. 😊

Tyler

Oh shit, you know I was just thinking about whether you would ever watch Monster. It's such a damn good series. Also, this anime came at what I would say is the tail end of traditional hand drawn cell animation era, and is one of the last one and maybe even THE last that Madhouse Studio did (you would know for shows like No Game No Life and Hunter x Hunter).

V_VMat

1986 -25 years old Curtis... Huh, so that means you were born 1961.. I knew you were younger than my parents, but I didn't know you were closer to my sister age than my parents 🤔

Schmul Sjifris

Monster!? Sweet^^ I can vibe with that^^

Florian Krause

I once started this show. I thought it would be pretty interesting for being german and getting some of the cultural stuff they put in there. but the art style wasn't to my liking so i dropped it. Maybe I can pull through along with curtis :)

SlushiesAndStuff

yes yes yes 1000% yes Curtis!!!!! I love monster!!

I hope so, My Friend... As of right now, I've seen through episode 3, and I gotta admit, I'm really fascinated. This one pulled me in big!

Duke

I LOVE THIS SHOW

Wesley

Never seen this one but it's on my watchlist. Excited to watch it with you 😊

TheMilkalator

YO MAD HYPE WHEN I SAW THIS IN MY NOTIFICATION.

TheMilkalator

Sort of like attack on titan, the show challenges complex topics/themes and is riddled with religious symbolism/metaphor. Curtis is gona have to kick the ol' hard drive into the next gear tho because the show demands one connects the dots in order to make some semblance of sense.

Bradley Freeman

Holy fucking shit fuck, all day I have been wondering what is going to replace AOT. I never would have imagined this to be it. You have no idea, how happy I am to see this! Enjoy your watch, Curtis!

TheMilkalator

Also was there ever a debate on sub vs dub? Dub in this show is better imo.

Anonymous

Oh shit!!! Curtis is watching Monster???? Lets gooo!

Rogue Agent

I like the dub better, yeah. But I'm game for any way Curtis reacts to this, I think I'm gonna enjoy his reactions.

Saioshi Kurogane

All I can say is that you're in for an adventure.

Tiny_Tim

Holy Shit! I remember when I recommended this a while ago, thank you for picking it up, you won't regret it!

Donna Suggs

Holy crap ur watching Monster. How did I just see this. I’m so hyped. It’s one of the shows that I never finished because it’s so good. Couldn’t bring myself to. Also it was impossible to find legally back when I watched it

Mihai Alexandru Untu

I'm so glad you started watching Monster. It's my favorite anime.
