Subaru is still genuinely terrified of dying, Re:Zero doesn’t make death a noble peaceful thing like a lot of anime do, it is the absolute most terrible and shattering thing that can happen to a person, so when betty said “ you’re not afraid” she mistook Subaru’s confidence of preventing his death for him not being afraid of it

Hey Curtis, will u be watching the OVA memory snow after 6A and 6B? It’s not essential to watch it like the other one is but it’s still a pretty good watch

THE GOOSH!

No, the gang has leaned always towards generally sticking to canon material on the voted in animes.

MWS

It is canon, it takes place in that time in the manga and novel, it’s just wasn’t included in the original anime, it just doesn’t really further the plot much, also the second OVA is vital to watch between seasons

True the OVA Frozen Bods has essential information's about Emilia's backstory. The Memory of Snow is just some fun time, but still canon.

Has anyone mentioned that when Ram calls Subaru "Barusu" shes calling him "Balls"?

With Subaru and that last scene at the end there, I don't think Subaru was thinking it through as a RESET. I think he just saw Rem in danger jumped in by instinct.

Was it foreshadowing or coincidence we'll find out in the next action packed episode of DRAGON BALL Z!!!

Re-watching this series with you has encouraged me to buy the light novels some more, I only own light novel 1 of the books and season one of the anime but now I am buying the next 3 books. :)

THE GOOSH!

That did get mentioned to me. Very cool; I wouldn't have picked that up on my own. :-)

Subaru dying is both painful and scary to him regardless of his respawn ability. In that last part when he broke down crying on Emilia's lap shows how it's been affecting him mentally and how he's been forcing himself to hide it and pretend nothings wrong because he's decided it's what's needed to be done to protect those he cares about. I think a major trait of Subaru is he puts on a brave happy face for those around him even at the cost of burdening himself with physical and mental exhaustion.
